And as for women who sleep around it is not always a negative reflection on character - it is a trauma response. For example in sexual abuse some (not all) women can go one of 2 ways - either avoid intimacy altogether or fully connect with others many times over due to the trauma experienced. Both ways are defense mechanisms in a way or from a distorted belief pattern set from the trauma about themselves. Another example would be in BPD where one of the diagnostic features is risk taking due to impulsive behaviours and putting themselves at risk - one of the ways is sexual behaviours/patterns - behind it is a deep drive to avoid their feelings of hurt & rejecton/to feel wanted/seen & cared for (whether that's what they get or not is the big gamble & if they don't the trauma deepens) they also avoid other stresses going on in their lives (escapism).

This is what I'd like to say on Lady Gaga's message in her support on him: Repeated rejection does not always mean hate. Sometimes it's the universe (or a higher being, if you believe in such) telling you to step back and re-evaluate the things you've been doing. Know when to stand your ground and also when to step back in order to either find other ways around or fully prepare to return stronger.
