Sometimes there are moments where I haven't thought about Homestar in months and "Who dropped The Homestar Runner from his flying machine?" Just starts playing in my head.
humdinger!

"Takes his tea at half-past three." Truly a heinous crime.
@masakasama aristocRAT
I had never understood the lyric "Who's been drinking bootleg hooch and listening to the jazz" until today
"Who put a Bengal tiger in The Kaizer's Latrine" was genius
Likely because the original version was hideously compressed.
Nothing like a few well-placed historical references to sell the vibe
Video titles were incredibly scarce during the Great Depression.
It is the Sneak. He has been drinking bootleg hooch and listening to "The Jazz."
A regular rapscallion that Sneak
Finally good sound quality of this.
Now you can hear every crackle on the intentionally bad oldtimey audio bits!
Even the downloadable version of the song on the website doesn’t compare to this.
Now we just need a super colorized version!
@@HerecomestheCalavera yes, but start with Technicolor!
To be quite frank this was absolutely music to my ears. As most music is. Because it's music.
Holy moly, I forgot how brilliant this is.
These guys rival Ween in their ability to dominate every single genre with insanely catchy songs.
they also worked with they might be giants a few times, and they're the KINGS of genre hopping
@@helix2331 Most tmbg songs sound the same.
The Sneak dancing on his hind legs is the cutest thing ever
This video has 5 skidoos more than usual.
A true sign of quality.
I remember watching this on an ollllllllllll vhs with my good ol great grandpappy Timber Woofling. Rest his soul.

@@wolfieinu I uh, I don't even know what a poopaw is.
I love how there's casually a reference to Don Giovanni in this This was the last cartoon series I expected to find opera references in
Which bit? The most part I remember from Don Giovanni is the walking talking statue from hell.
@@Xana0982 "The Strong Bad's Leporello". Leporello is Don Giovanni's sidekick, as The Sneak is Old-Time Strong Bad's.
The walking talking statue from hell is also pretty lit tho
I remember listening to this over and over back when this first came out in 2003. It is insane that it was 19 years ago! I remember taking a screenshot of The Sneak at around 0:36 and coloring it in Photoshop. Back in 2003 I never would have thought I'd look back at that time as the good ole days. That reminds me of a quote from Andy Bernard on The Office "I wish there a was way to know that you are in the good ole days before you leave them" :(
Sneakvideo YT is my favourite Homestar song!
Ah, Good Ol’ sneakvideo yt. A classic’s classic.
I know right
Nah, experimental film is the BEE'S KNEES.
I remember when it first made an appearance and here I am all these years later still remembering lyrics and watching on KZhead in 2023. Timeless.
It's funny every time. It's been years and it still gets me every time. Homestarrunner is timeless.
quite lovely tomfoolery ol bean! Also I had no idea De vinchis notebook preformed this!!
Per the DVD commentary tracks, although it's credited to all of Da Vinci's Notebook, only Paul and Storm were involved.
I used to think that was the name of the group here and that they were the old timey Limozeen, until I learned Da Vinci's Notebook was an actual band.
@@agen335 That would be a good theory, though.

what?
"What?" -- The Home Star Runner, Esq.
I used to think Da Vinci's Notebook was the old-timey version of Limozeen, but then I learned they're an actual band.
And 2/5 if that band made this song.
this is going to be stuck in my head forever..
Smashing songology, The Sneak! Now let's go steal us a runabout!
NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW!
Zounds! The audio isn't compressed Flash-quality this time!
most of these are ripped from the DVDs so it’s not surprising
Jackanapes is probably one of my favorite words
it's such a good word and i think it's high time we bring it back
@@Portal2LabRat Also, what happened to the phrase "high time"?
This makes me happy in ways that I can’t even explain!!! My favorite Homestar Runner song is back and better than ever!!!!
Cuphead's got nothin' on this.
oh great - now I'm gunna be binging Homestarrunner videos all day.
One of the best songs they’ve created!
OMG I had no idea this was Da Vinci's Notebook!!!
I've had "doo whacka doo whacka doo" stuck in my head FOR 15 YEARS and couldn't remember where it was from!!!!!
I loved this song as a kid!
Man, they don't make 'em like they used to.
I still remember this so well from watching it a million times. I’m glad to have it easily accessible now!
Is your pfp new age mappy?
@@nukiradio yeah I guess. I think it's from some fan art I found. I like classic Namco arcade game characters.
By far my favorite thing on the internet. Ever since my first time seeing it all those years ago on the original website
1:51 I've seen this so many times and don't think I ever realized that the football player is supposed to be old timey Coach Z!
He's officially called the Fort Wayne Locomotive.
My youth rocked!!!
I want to do the hully-gully on the panama canal.
Sneak yt .... QUALITY TITLE CHAPS!
i think they just wanna get their flash vids on google's servers as fast as possible before goognet wakes up in 20X6 and destroys all us humanstar runners
Give him what for!
Wow. This music is incredible. The video fits so well too
It's weird to realize how much Paul and Storm appear so much in the nostalgia of my late teens and early adult life and I didn't stop to realize it until now. Both Bob and Tom and Homestar Runner... Always enjoyed when Da Vinci's Notebook/Paul and Storm appeared on B&T, never realized they sang Ballad of The Sneak, too.
Nice. Another individual who enjoys the Bob and Tom show of the 90s and early 2000s. I think I was introduced to DaVinci's Notebook on B&T through their hilarious "Enormous Penis" song.
That song is 1920-30s catchy!
I LOVE this. The oldtimey cartoons are awesome.
The Homestar Runner's gone mad with power! He's gonna eat the Snork!
I kinda want "sneakvideo yt" to be the outdated KZhead naming convention specifically for Old Timey videos. But judging from the fact that there's no Description either, that's probably just an oversight.
@Julian B it could be both of your comments
I always felt bad for The Sneak when we see him all bloated from eating too much Fluffy Puff.
So who should be the first to do a modern cover of this, Limozeen, Taranchula, or Sloshy?
Daniel Brant as long as it has the Dancing Brothers, I’m fine with any one of them.
Clearly the modern version should be gangsta rap By Coach Z ft OG legend Peacey P. With Appearance by special guest R&B icon Tenarance Love
Remainder 3! Repeating! Y'all biscuit heads.
Brainkrieg
Homestar Runner summed it up best at the end. "...What?". XD
I was just considering searching for this in the video archive because I wanted to listen to it, but then it conveniently ended up in my subscription feed. Dandy!
Still a banger after all these years
📽📽📺📺🎞🎞📻📻 love these videos, they rock, this one reminds me of 1930s cartoons
This is supposed to be a homage to old cartoons
I'm so glad they're bringing this back... I used to watch this all the time!
I freaking love this song.
FINALLY I WAS WAITING FOR A HIGH QUALITY VERSION OF THIS!
This was such a surprise. I can't imagine why, but i had completely forgotten about this piece
This song randomly pops into my head at half past three
One of my all-time favorites. I still quote or sing this all the time. Written and sung by Paul Sabourin and Greg DiCostanzo of DaVinci’s Notebook, who also sang the hilarious “Title Of The Song”. Look it up.
Formerly of DaVinci's Notebook
My favorite Paul’s and storm era track was “we are the opening band”
I have that song on a 2003 Bob and Tom show CD. I always end up singing along when I play it in my car. And yes, I can hold the high note for as long as the singer.
So timely. Tammany Hall must be stopped
Is it bad that I prefer this version over the original The Cheat theme song? And I'm not even a fan of music that predates the 1960's!
MonstrousPegasister Nah, this version is _classier._

After all these years that "what?" Always has me dying.
What?
I think this was the first Homestar Runner toon I ever saw way back in the early 2000s. I miss those days
I'd unironically listen to a song like this not that i totally already do or anything
What's that you say? A new old oldtimey upload of The Cheat song? I'll buy that for a shiny new penny! Wait, there isn't any _irish_ in this, is there?
You had to look up "Leporello", didn't you? I did.
Some people looked up the word "Leporello". Albert has.
Nope. My sister went through a Don Giovanni phase in her early 20s.
Got 1003 hits in Spain! ;-)
here while it’s still titled “sneakvideo yt”. feels cursed. pray for me.
Yes, but is he the guy from 21 Jump Street?
Dumpy Frog nope. Not the sneak.
That show didn't even exist yet
No, you whippersnapper. Moving pictures barely even existed with more than 1 colour!
Could be. All we know for sure is it isn't The Cheat.
NO
Fun fact: Da Vinci's Notebook is credited for this, but it was all just Paul & Storm.
I remember not being able to understand most of the words when I listened to this back in the day but I can now, and this song is really good
Same, I could never make out some of the lines until now due to the improved sound quality ("oooohhh, The Sneak TAKES TEA at half past three!").
That talkie was one humdinger!
It’s been years since I’ve seen this and it’s so terrific!!!
1850-1950 abridged: The song
More 1920-1940, I think.

Homestar Runner and Da Vinci's Notebook 👍
I was just remembering this video the other day... Then it showed up on my KZhead feed...
Who put a Bengal Tiger in The Kaiser's latrine? Ach Liebe!

I love homestarr runner
Even if he has the intellect of a stale Cheeto.
This deserves way more views
This song/video is why I'm super-torn on if I like The Cheat or The Sneak better. It's just not fair. Da Vinci's Notebook makes such a good case for The Sneak!
Love this.
Still waiting for my "Kick The Sneak" Plushie to be invented.
