  • For some reason, that visual gag of the telescope spying on the old timey HS gang, only to reveal SB wasn’t even looking at them and instead read the newspaper instead, totally went over my head as a 10 year old. It made me crack up hard right now though.

  • This cartoon was "released" in 1937. That's the exact same year as the Disney cartoon "Lonesome Ghosts", which similarly features characters trying to find and hunt down ghosts in a spooky setting. Also, both this cartoon and that one are cartoons that are associated with Halloween.
