  • I must say, Bama had more intensity and resolve in this game. They seemed to be bristling from the jump and when they play angry but disciplined they are unbeatable.

  • Auburn was FEROCIOUS in the Iron Bowl, but 'Bama looked just about as ferocious in this game. High effort and intensity usually wins! I thought Alabama played its heart out against the mighty Clemson Tigers. Bravissimo, guys!

  • This is the third straight year the Crimson Tide has started the season No. 1 and ripped through its first seven games with little resistance. In 2016, the Tide outscored its first seven opponents 318-105, spent the entire regular season at No. 1 and did not lose until the national championship game against Clemson. Last year, Alabama outscored everyone 299-71 through seven games and did not stumble until the regular-season finale at Auburn, which the CFP selection committee excused and the Tide went on to win its fifth national championship under coach Nick Saban. This year, Alabama is 7-0 by a margin of 375-106. Now Alabama faces its toughest Southeastern Conference games against LSU and Auburn are always in November. Looks like another banner year for the Tide.

    • Same ole Jalen Hurts.

      @williecourthers9450@williecourthers94506 жыл бұрын
  • Jalen Hurts is simply a bad passer. Cannot throw against an elite defense, cannot read the field, cannot hit a receiver in stride. It’s not like I could do any better, but it doesn’t make it less true. Tua has to start this year. Will probably throw a few more picks, but the ability to throw and keep the defense from stacking the box with 8 every play will more than compensate.

    @dwrolltide@dwrolltide5 жыл бұрын
    • courther not to mention that Tua has got some pretty good speed as well. The media pundits, and probably a good few of those Bama fans you mention, like to say that we have a QB that can run in Jalen and a QB that can throw in Tua. I think Tua can do both. I’ve seen them both run, and while Tua is probably a tenth of a second or so slower in the 40, he escapes pressure pressure as good as anyone else. Kinda like Blake Sims in 2014, only a better passer than Sims (who did have a nice deep ball). I think most people have come around to our way of thinking. I hope Jalen sticks around. He’s a great leader and good person. He could take a lesson from Braxton Miller (I think), and face the reality that he probably can play in the NFL because of his athleticism, but just not at the QB spot. It would made sense for him to ask for a position change. Maybe a slot receiver? I’d say running back but we are so deep there I don’t think he’d see the field. We do. Wed help in the secondary for certain.

  • Score should have been 52-6 had Tua played.

    @arrowjsmith153@arrowjsmith1536 жыл бұрын
    • Kobe... I think you missed a key point. Did you noticed Clemson defense was stacking the box with 8 or 9 players ? They dared Jalen to beat them throwing the ball. This is why Bama's run game suffered in the game. Also Bama offense had a hard time moving the ball downfield because Jalen wasn't accurate throwing the ball. Tua in the game would have forced Clemson to back off the line of scrimmage and play pass. Tua is more accurate than Jalen and he can read defenses quicker. This would have opened up Bama run game. Clemson would agree with you that "...Hurts was a good QB to play clemson..." because Jalen is not consistently accurate throwing the ball. Jalen is a one read run QB. He doesn't go through his progression. If he did he would have seen Calvin Ridley wide opened the first time in the end zone.

Everytime my team would *WIN!* (everything in the universe was right & God was GOOD!)....but everytime my team would *LOSE!* (it's like I couldn't *BREATHE!!!* [[[[Man!, am I glad I gave up *SOME* sports. When you do, a *PEACE* like you've never known fills your heart.]]]] Sidenote: Do I sound "GAY"? I don't give a *SHYT* . All I know is I just watched the *BIG* difference between last year (2018) & this year (2019).
