In US news and current events today, racism in America once again played in an incident of racial profiling by a police officer. In this episode of police harassment and police racism, Aaron Joseph and his cousin were stopped by an Indianapolis cop after leaving a Nordstrom store. Police activity usually dictates some wrongdoing but this cop pulled them over because they looked 'suspicious.' Police videos in real life sometimes can have real consequences. After an Indianapolis Metro police officer showed and let the men go, the cop that stopped them was fired 2 hours later.

It’s not that “people should be able to” it that people have the Constitutional Right. 1st amendment right to free speech. 4th amendment right to be secure in my person papers and effects. 14th amendment, the equal protection clause, if one has the right to do something, all have the right under the law to engage in the same activity. They can record you, you can record them. I don’t know your state laws. I’m in California. We passed SB 411 Aug 11, 2015, “The Right to Record Act” adding to the penal code, PC 69 B and PC 148 (g) to clearly read the citizen has the right to record wherever they “have a right to be”.
