    • Yes please! Especially since I have two dogs and one is still very excited after having her sit before we enter new spaces.

    • I live in Spain and rescued a 10 month old puppy. ? Viszla ? Rhodesian Ridgeback. He was 17 kg. Now He's 25.5 kg. I'm 67 but the police didn't want him and neither do the dogs' homes. They are overcrowded. He's pulled me over four times in a rush to get to other dogs. He is not aggressive, just over-exuberant! I've had him vaccinated and neutered. But I desperately need help. So, he's okay going into dog park, but he frightens other dogs because of his size. So a video on really strong dogs that are reactive and pulling on leash for me! He thinks all dogs are his friends! He barks and yelps to get to them. We have to cross the road if we see another dog.

    • Your right... it isn't a new thing; however, Cesar is more in-tuned with the instinctual side of a dog's nature.@@MrBobbo18

  • I learned a long time ago that when i'm anxious that I need to create space between the interaction and me. this has prevented a lot of problems from escalating. If you know your energy you can do what's necessary to prevent it from triggering problems. People look at me crazy when their off leash dog approaches and i let go of my leash... i know im mervous and thats the best i can do to help my dog. If i had an aggresive dog i wouldnt do that i would keep my dog behind me and be assertive with the approaching dog. They dont approach when u face them and calmly but assertively tell them to go.

  • Brah, one time walking my dog, got him on that leash close to me, some old lady had a dog on the extended leash right, and so our dogs got close and her dog tried to bite mine during contact i said nah and pulled up my dog by his leash into my arms and walked off, i didnt feel bad at all, my dog was confident, calm and secured. That old lady needs to work on her dog. Bad owners make bad dogs.

  • I've learned so much from Cesar! He's been teaching me how to behave with my dogs, not the other way around. My energy becomes theirs so calm and cool is what we are. I own a Siberian husky and she's a well behaved girl on or off leash

  • Yes absolutely! My golden doodle goes berserk with energy when he gets around other dogs. He’s not aggressive in that he will bite but he wants to play. He’s the same around people and wants to jump on them.

  • My dog used to be great at the dog park, but as he gets older he will more often raise his hackles and make attempts to put his muzzle over some dogs necks (insecure dominance). I don't know what has caused this, he used to try to initiate play and would come to me if a dog was trying to instigate. Only thing I can think is that we stopped going as often after I had a baby, but he played with dogs in other settings in place of this.

  • Hi Cesar, your videos are most interesting. My daughter has a Spanish water dog. She is finding him most difficult to train. He was born stone deaf. Jo-Ann has done very well considering but she really needs further help. The trainer here in Guernsey was very good to begin with but has lost interest. I have had many different dogs over the years and I've been very happy with them but they weren't deaf. I don't know if you can help but I thought I'd tell you anyway. Thank you for the work you are doing. 😊😊

  • How can I get my little male chuihuahua to stop stopping at every blade of grass and tree to wee even when wee ran out also he barks at everyone and every dog it's so embarrassing I think people think he is aggressive he isn't it more scared of everything he is very loving and cuddly at home playful etc calm but take him out for walk he is a different dog he is 1year Feb 17th thank you xxx

    @andreahall6007@andreahall60073 ай бұрын
    • The wee is likely because another dog, most likely an intact dog, has gone there before him. If he still has his balls this is most definitely the case. Probably just keep going and eventually he will realize that it's not going work. Some people teach a command such as "hurry up" to let the dog know it should keep going. If he follows when you say this or whatever phrase, praise him. The barking out of fear is probably because he believes it will make the scary person, animal, or whatever object go away. This often requires some extra help. Cesar has some videos showing him handle fearful dogs, and there are more on DogDaddy as well as Beckman Dog Training who is easier to get ahold of for questions than Cesar or DD.

  • Unfortunately, the video was not really clear. I was having trouble figuring out the breed. I think it was a mastiff breed (mix/type), not sure. Anyway, the dog looked good and friendly. That would definitely not be surprising if it is in fact a mastiff breed. Btw, if you want a "large" dog that is protective, but is actually sweet and loving, mastiff breeds are amazing. That being said, they are big, of course need training and drool, some more than others.
