Not sure if this helps, but the vacuum chamber for removing the bubbles isn't done after the pour. You're supposed to remove the air bubbles after you mix but before you pour, leaving zero to minimal trapped bubbles. Pouring lightly and very slowly all over the object will also help with minimizing the bubbles and eliminating possible air pockets. Lastly, for an object like this nest, which will have plenty of trapped air inside constantly wanting to escape; I would also recommend sealing it first by painting a layer of the epoxy by hand all around it. This would remove the chance for ANY air to try to escape. Then after pouring around it, you could drill a hole in the top and fill the inside with epoxy only since you planned on cutting it. Hope this helps a little!
