  • I have seen over 50 videos on the Avata 2 so far lol now and this is the first one I have heard anyone mention the 2 position switch and the function. That is such an interesting detail how it works. Great video, bud. Extremely informative. 👍

    • Whether dji mini 4 pro or avata 2 as first drone which would be better? Is avata 2 less than 250g

      @roninr8199@roninr8199Ай бұрын
    • @@roninr8199 I would say they are both very different drones for different types of fun/flying. The Mini 4 is more geared for slower type video and photos (even though the top speed isn’t too shabby for a smaller drone), where I see the Avata is more for FPV based type flying and the drone is a lot more agile and nimble. Both have a spot in my rc line up for what it’s worth.

  • Thank goodness I found your channel. I have just purchased a DJI Avata 2 and am still trying to find my way around it. I have watched loads of videos but so far yours has been the best and most informative. I couldn't even figure out how to power the drone up until you showed me. My maiden flight was an unmitigated disaster as I flew it straight into a tree. So...I am going to find an open space and practice. Once again thanks, it's a brilliant channel, I just wish I had found it sooner 👌

  • Thank you, great video, not just for beginners! My Challenge during first flight was the new RC control which for me is not as intuitive as I thought when having a standard RC control in mind. Your video explains where the differences are and how to use the new control in the best way, that helped me a lot. 😊

    • I agree 100%. 65yo retiree here. 🇦🇺🦘 I looked at heaps of other “tutorials” but none of them showed what to do after opening the box. This shows exactly what to do (except for which QR code to scan.) It’s hard for us old folk with this new technology. I bought a DJI Spark years ago and barely flew it before it was obsolete. I ‘liked’, subscribed and saved so I can watch this over and over (takes a bit to sink in) and get my kids to watch it if I ever let them use it. Happy flying.👍🪽

  • You guys are going to love the transfer data from the drone via Bluetooth. (Turn on the fly app after the initially setup) Once the fly app is up just turn on the drone. Once the drone is on the DJI fly app will automatically tell you in the small window on the left that it detects the Avata near by and gives you the option to connect. It’s so sweet. You don’t need the goggles 🥽 or controller. 😊

  • Have just brought one and waiting for it to arrive, this is the most comprehensive vid I have seen so far, many thanks for uploading, I have also subscribed for more content. One point of interest is that I have flown Rc planes and copters for many years with a traditional controller, I really can’t see why I would want to use the traditional controller over the one you have, it seems much more intuitive and would generally give a much better fpv experience, others may disagree, just my opinion.

  • Love your reviews and based on that I ordered my Avata 2. Was wondering if you encountered the same limitation as I noticed with the "Live View" through the Goggles cameras. I noticed that the focus of these is limited to a few meters more than that the picture is blurry. Also I noticed that in 2D mode only the right camera is transmitting and in 3D the left one joins but with a very short focus. There is no issue with the focus of the control menu nor the view transmitted from the Drone. Thank you

  • The Goggles 3 are not very comfortable going from thin plastic to hard molded plastic. I did figure out which helps out a lot. The piece of foam in the packaging that is only a temp to protect the lenses I guess? I cut a size that fits the rubber side gaps that offer some actual cushion and used double sided tape to keep each foam piece in place. Made a big difference. Hopefully soon someone will make a more comfortable insert and I can just toss out that thin cheap rubber mess. ❤

Having DIFFERENT historical and TECHNOLOGICAL timelines spanning 150 years. 🙂 If you want to educate start by having pride in the gear we use including the correct words that describe what we do. Our tools are Digital Video, Non-linear, and CGI. 🙂 We video, we do not film. In all reality, it is not necessary to state that we video. It's obvious. Respect to you. :-)
