  • Hello, is it recommended to turn off nvidia optimus in this laptop? I have some friends who own acer nitro 5s with intel 12th gen, they are experiencing low performance ( low fps) on games, its worse than my acer nitro 5 with i5 11th gen. or is updating the bios version the only answer?

  • You wrote the cpu avg temps before the games :( For example, Far Cry 6, you wrote Cpu Temp max = 76, but in the game it started 87.

    • same bro when i play JUST CAUSE 3 the temperature stays between 85-92c (this is normal for gaming laptops) but never goes beyond that .

  • Hello, I have the same equipment but with an RTX 2050 and in some games the temperature reaches 80°C and I really don't know if that is good or bad but I am worried about the temperature, in the warframe I reach a maximum temperature of 80 °C and I think it is not a very demanding game. If you have any advice I would appreciate it

    • Buy a cooling pad that makes a difference. The temp will drop from 80 to 75 guaranteed brother.

    • I think MSI afterburner is monitoring differrent sensors. We got our stats from HWinfo log values for AVG CPU temp, but i think MSI afterburner is taking it from max core value. So at a certain point a core must have been 70+ C. We fixed this with our new overlay. Starting with the upcoming Lenovo Ideapad Gaming video, it only uses selected sensors, so no more guessing about where the values come from.

  • I have two options, the version with i5 12 gen or the version with i7 both with Rtx 3050 ti But I don't know if that i7 is worth it or if the i5 is good

    • I've had the 3050 for a lil over a year and I can say it's been one of my best investments mind u imma console player always have been, but the 3050 impressed me I'm able to run the games I want I would say get a 1tb ssd and 16gb ram as they are super cheap right now I just picked up a 2tb ssd crucial p3 for $80

    • @@ArgusRD yeah for sure man no problem, the one I have is crucial p3 2tb ssd ddr4 ram and you could install it really easily, I'd also get a 16gb of ram so you'd have 24gb (8gb from the stock ram) and that's more than enough for games nowadays, take care hope u enjoy man!

  • There is not a much difference between 1650 and rtx3050 only 4-5 fps is more in some case but as I have observed in the video some games are better in 1650 don't mine but it's my opinion

    • It depends on room temperature, we had something like 26 C. A few degrees more will result in higher temps. We also always test on max fans speed and performance mode.
