Theories: Well in War for Planet of Apes the Colonel clearly expressed the virus was mutated and making all humans mute. Considering how quickly the Colonel was infected and became mute I am confused how this Nova is able to speak. So theories? (1) Nova may be a test subject for sleeping pods based on Earth and may be a last survivor. (In the 1960's film the astronauts were in sleeping pods). Perhaps this Nova was in a testing one but was not awoken until now. (2) Nova is the first or part of the Mutated Humans from Beyond The Planet of The Apes as the film established they were not mute and also had some powers. (3) The Colonel was wrong or the virus did not move as fast as it was made to believe and Nova and Her past family may have been isolated or immune to the virus. (4) Perhaps every few generations in the mute dumbed humans a new born has humanities original DNA without being effected by the virus and perhaps She is a mutant from Her own people. (5) This film is NOT leading to the 1960's Apes movies and will lead somewhere new instead?

@@kindnessark8064Her name is Mae, Nova was in War. This is confirmed to be 200 years later or the twist, apes count differently. It's most likely it's tieing back into the OG planet of the apes. Mae is probally an astronaut. That somehow ends up in this time period. Whether that be cryogenic or an easter egg often missed in Rise. Who knows.

Whenever I see the scene at the end used in tv spots, it immediately makes me think of Caesar and Koba’s fight on top of the tower in Dawn.

Notice she is the only one wearing old world clothing, while the others are dressed like cavemen. Her dressing apart from the others shows her intelligence, and that makes her a threat to the apes.

So I just watched rise of the planet of the apes and people kept saying that the girl came from a space shuttle or something and I have a feeling that they maybe right because if y’all go back and watch rise of the planet of the apes it say on a news paper “LOST IN SPACE” because people that were supposed to go to mars apparently they got lost In space and if you look at the first trailer of the kingdom of the planet of the apes it shows a lot of scenes of noa looking at planets and Saturn and stuff and noa and the girl are at some like museum about planets and space so maybe the girl is showing them her secrets of how they are not sick from the virus and stuff AND THATS WHY ONE OF THE TRAILERS SAYS “THEIR SECRETS” but also remember this movie is 300 years later of the future so idk about thats I’m a little confused that’s why we’re gonna have to find out more of it but this just a theory I just been thinking about cause I was watching all of the planet of the apes movies
