In this episode of BlacktipH, I go fishing for monster catfish in the Mississippi River with my good buddy Capt. Blake. We were using a giant yellowfin tuna carcass for chum to lure these monster catfish towards our boat. For bait, we were using yellowfin tuna, wahoo, cobia, and dolphin (mahi-mahi).

We pull up 50+ pound flatheads, also bluecats can’t be eaten over 20+ pounds, so yeah
@@CypressCrossout we catch 50 and 60 pounders in the Ohio outside Pittsburgh and if we go more south in Ohio about 2 hours from me we catch 100+ pound blues that we make sure survive cause a fish that big is just about as many years old.

Yeah man the queen's land grouper are bigger then the goliaths especially in the estuaries
They are protected In this case you are not even allowed to target them Wade got a special permission back then

I love when you do freshwater fishing videos and I love to catfish. Those are serious catfish the largest I have ever caught was around 20 pounds and those make it look like a baby. Like you did, I find it best to catch catfish when you chum the water and draw in the fish. I love your videos keep up the great work.
