Just the final approach and landing of an Eurowings Airbus A319 during beautiful weather on runway 15 of Salzburg Airport (SZG / LOWS) in Austria. Cockpit, pilots, charts, PFD (primary flight display) and ND (navigation display) view. With cockpit audio. Captain is pilot flying and first officer pilot monitoring. ATC (air traffic control) callsign is Eurowings 9N (Eurowings Niner November). Commercial flight number: Eurowings 9716. Departure airport: Dusseldorf (DUS / EDDL). Airplane registration: D-AKNV. Great video, lovely area, I work in Semiconductor industry and have visited Salzburg 4 or 5 times, first visit the deal was made in the Redbull factory, maybe Hanger 7 at the airport??? Great place, great memories. Was a direct flight from ZRH in a Dash 8 but the airline doesn’t exist anymore. Great place to visit in X-Plane, had a go-around there (long floating landing) and it’s a steep left turn if I remember correctly.

- I agree, Salzburg is a nice airport with a great ground crew and ATC. I heard so many good things about the restaurant in hangar 7. I hope to get the chance to visit it sometime soon. Yes, the go around from runway 15 requires a tight turn to the left. We have to fly it manually to stay far enough away from the obstacles.

Lovely video, i love your videos. I have actually never seen Salzburg nor been there before so it`s great to get a cockpit view as a first look for the overview. Looks like a beautiful place i have to visit i will add it to my bucket list. I think the closest i have been is Innsbruck but that was on my desktop flightsimulator but closest IRL would probably be Amsterdam i think..quite far away.

- Der Captain hat ganz oben in der angepinnten Nachricht das vollständige Video gepostet. Dieses wurde vor 4 Monaten erstellt, also muss es diesen Sommer gewesen sein.

Guten Morgen... Ähm eine doofe Frage wahrscheinlich, aber die weißen beiden Lichter an den Flügelspitzen, sind nur beim Start und bei der Landung an? Schonmal schöne Feiertage. 🎉🎉🎉

- Das kann auch ich beantworten, falls ihm das passt. Ich schätze du meinst die Lichter, die hier und da aufblitzen? Die werden eigentlich nur vom Start bis zur Landung aktiviert bei diesen Fliegern, da man u.A. dadurch die Flieger besser erkennen kann'!

- Die sogenannten Strobes sind Blitzlichter, die wir mit dem Lineup zum Start einschalten (Schalter auf on) und nach der Landung wieder ausschalten. Wenn der Schalter auf Auto steht, schalten sich die Strobes mit dem Abheben ein und nach dem Aufsetzen wieder aus.

mit wie viel Fuel landet man in etwas immer mit einem A320CEO? Ich möchte mir das gerne besser einstellen in Simbrief für MSFS2020

- Wir haben bei der Landung normalerweise den Sprit zum Alternate plus 30 Minuten Holding Sprit plus nicht verbrauchten sonstigen Sprit im Tank. Meist ist das Sprit für etwa 1 Stunde oder etwas mehr. Wir rechnen mit etwa 2400 Kilogramm pro Stunde oder 40 Kilo pro Minute.

🤦 da ist doch nix los in salzburg wozu ein fahrzeug was vorfährt? dat kostet doch nur zusätzlich und bei euren flugplan ist dieser salzburg flughafen häufig

- Das ist Standard in Salzburg, dass ein Follow-me die inbounds übernimmt. Der Lotse ist nur fürs rausrollen verantwortlich

- weil nicht jeder Stellplatz für jeden Flieger geeignet ist, beziehungsweise Follow Me sind für die Zuweisung der Stellplätze verantwortlich; Dat kostet nicht extra, ganz im Gegenteil, bei uns hat fast jeder eine zweite Funktion

- Das legt jeder Flughafen individuell fest. In Salzburg rollt man meist per Follow Me Fahrzeug zum Abstellplatz. Warum das so ist, liegt oft an den örtlichen Gegebenheiten.
