If we had a squad rather than just the first 11 our season would still be alive
But we don’t buy squad players we buy cheap or available players. Phillips. Cornet. Ings. Snodgrass. Arnartovic. Then we let them go again. Fornals gone. Benrahma gone. Kehrer gone. Johnson about to go. Lanzini gone. These players want first team football but are not trusted or consistent enough to rely on. Why name them on the bench if you have no use for them other than to waste a few minutes and pay huge salaries.

The media really do suck up to Moyes. They never ask him the questions they should about the squad size with two games a week, defensive frailties for a defensive minded manager, age of the squad, lack of playing time for fringe and young talented players and are the fans wrong to ask for more entertaining football when we have a forward four who, when fit, are excellent.

@@stephenlaws1836 100%, we need a rotational squad, players ready to come on and play, and someone who lets the players press, I’ve always known West Ham as a pressing club, at the old Upton Park the crowd loved a striker sliding across the keeper chasing the ball, let’s get back to old ways and push on, some additions plus few the youth players and we can progress. We have two of the best wingers in the league in kudus and bowen, a second striker to support Antonio, and some defensive additions and we can really progress next year, our fitness levels for such a small squad is amazing, we can push on for Europe again next season under the right manager and also enjoy watching the football

All we do as fans of West ham United, is ask for effort and they certainly delivered on that. If only, if only, a game lasted for eighty minutes, then it we would be us going through! Spot on JohnCook. Our big problem is we have no bench so without that you can't compete with top teams , they will simply ware you down then bring on 4 to 5 top fresh players in the final third of the match.

I think what we did to get things sorted out by looking at what Moyes has done for us yes the games we have played like Arsenal 6 0 Fulham 5 0 and now Palace 5 2 but we west ham fans got to say is when was the last time we played in Europe and won anything so I think we should let Moyes stay and see how next season goes

Ive had my moments were I have been frustrated with David Moyes, but overall he has improved West Ham and made us a real force. I hope the club give him a new 3 year contract and get rid of the speculation surrounding him each week. Most top managers will only use West Ham as a stepping stone, keep Moyes and we will grow stronger again next season.
