I grew up during the Mayweather-Pacquiao era and have countless memories watching HBO and Showtime boxing. What really struck me was the amount of passion these two networks put into covering this sport. Each event they put on was like watching a movie. It wasn’t like a typical sports game, it was more like cinema. And on top of that, they both maintained their quality from the beginning to the end. It is so sad to see both of them gone, but hopefully one day a new network will come along and give this sport the recognition it deserves.

My reintroduction to boxing was Holyfield vs. Toney, October 4, 2003. I had watched boxing since I was quite young, but this was my first pay-per-view event, and not to be forgotten. More than 20 years later, and I'm still a fan. I suspect that I always will be, because nothing captures my imagination more than two men in a ring, risking their lives for a prize and the entertainment of spectators the world over. My thanks to Showtime for putting on top-quality events for so many years.

It wasn’t like a typical sports game, it was more like cinema. And on top of that, they both maintained their quality from the beginning to the end. It is so sad to see both of them gone, but hopefully one day a new network will come along and give this sport the recognition it deserves.
Thank you Showtime! You're what made me love this sport so much.
Thanks for the entertaining fights throughout the years… Farewell Showtime Boxing 1986-2023.

showtime whyyy😔😔 we love the community and the boxers, really will miss u guys, showtime had the best fights ever🙏🏾🙏🏾
It’s Showtimeeee
LOVE.🤟❤
Thank you Showtime🙏🏾❤️
