Croatia was famous for the ship building at the time of Yugoslavia, and now is the electric super car. Croatia is really an amazing country.

(I am Croatian background and people know croatia for their sardines, sorry my croat is not as good as parents, been to Croatia few times) I am not impressed by this car, why, well it is close to a million dollars !!!!! Give many people a million and they will make a awesome EV supercar too. !!!1

@@walterwolf9 I wish my comment is stupid, but unfortunately as a Croat living in USA, Americans do not know about Croatian products but few know about the great sardines we export. Rimac concept one is about $980,000, the Rimac concept two is $2 million.

The comment about to give other people million and they will make a awesome EV supercar too is wrong too. And how much it cost its not important because every product have buyer. You should be proud to be Croat in USA and you should say this EV supercar was made from Croatia. This one is unique in the WORLD.
All I can say, regardless of the arguments I've briefly seen in some of the comments already written, is that these people have my TOTAL RESPECT. When (I don't remember his name and it's really not all that important, anyway) the guy was talking about how at 19 he started the company and was flat broke, electric company wanting to shut off the juice, the landlord wanting to evict him, not having the funds to meet payroll, etc....WOW. Going from BUST to BOOM like they seem to be doing, thriving with growth though not profitable at the moment, I cannot help but to feel an ENORMOUS RESPECT for what they've accomplished together. ANYBODY could start a business with millions of Dollars (or Euros), but starting with literally nothing and getting to where they are now takes some serious fortitude, commitment, perseverance, and passion. WELL DONE, GUYS AND GIRLS! MY HAT IS OFF TO YOU and I sincerely hope you thrive!
Respect to Porsche and Hyundai for supporting this young kid. I hope he one day is established!

Now that's the most beautiful and powerful electric vehicle I have ever seen, first time hearing of this brand, vehicle looks gorgeous, and not completely surprised its origins are based in Croatia.

I've followed Matte in his developement of his business right from the beginning with the Concept one (I haven't included his green BMW3 days) and yes, i would like to see the company grow bigger than Tesla...Also love Croatia as a country. Major thumbs up

It's all about the small things such as; are all the components and parts of the lucid air made in the USA? what is the quality of the comonents.... at the end of the day its all about the management for future risks. No offence but the Lucid air is just plain ugly tbh.. the back looks like a rip off cheap version of a Porsche Taycan and the front is just awful.
I too am Croatian background, not enamored with this car, this supercar is close to a MILLION dollars. I do NOT see Rimac being able to compete in the middle class market. Thankfully Toyota fulfills my needs with their hybrids.

America leads the way the new lucid air independently tested at 517 miles on a single charge. Plus great performance at a fraction of this cars price. Not even needing a gigantic battery array

@Amarjit Singh same as you cant find press release about 100% working prototype. Hype about Rimac its very big, but what is being delivered are just press videos. To remind everybody first prototype was announced 2 years ago, still there is no prototype of production car. Tesla is postponed, Elise, etc. Its just not possible to create electric supercar with current technology.
Porsche, KIA and Hyundai dont wanna spend any money on Bugatti

@@clixium , Actually one of the latest Rimac interviews, at the end of next year, I think he add..."maybe":)If you track announced timelines they are around 2 years behind schedule. Pininfarina Batista which is C2 with italian design, delivery date was announced for 1.6.2020 in Munchen, now is 1.12.2020, still there is no final prototype of C2. And in one interview Mate Rimac says that they are moving from hyper car to luxury sport and with performance reducing more closer to the currently fastest Tesla. So I think this just cant be built until Musk says so, think everybody waiting for Musk breakthrough in technology:)

@Xendex Motorsports rimac did bought bugatti not so much long ago so don't talk about something you don't know about.
@Xendex Motorsports ok no problem. But porsche don't own rimac they just invest money in them just like other car factories do like bentley, ferrari, lamborghini and so on. Rimac makes bateries for porsche cars like new taycan. But people often mistake because situation is complicated and rimac is young company haha.

This car has apparently been engineered where all of the parts are made in the most expensive and labor-intensive way possible using low-production techniques. Thousands of pieces of carbon fiber pre-preg, machining parts from billet. I'll be shocked if they turn a profit on their car production.

Saying that all these machines are "fully automatic" is misleading. They must be programmed, calibrated, adjusted, and checked frequently. Every piece of ANY material, regardless of how expensive or high-tech it is, behaves differently. Too many people are under the misconception that you put material in, push a button, and the machine produces a good part. That is not the case most of the time.
