Lmao
Any chance we'll get them to make an exotic racing RV? Exotic racing bus? Exotic racing rail car?😂
Lmao
And here are my thoughts
😂😂😂😂
I don't think I've ever seen MKBHD so jazzed about a car as this one. I don't blame him!
True
i mean it’s probably the best hyper car in the world rn

Agree! What's not to love about this hypercar
The fact you can have 4x4, RWD or FWD by choice is simply amazing
Don't forget on the fly custom slip angles! The beauty of each wheel having it's own dedicated motor ;)
Teslas have this
@@stefanocosta9430😂
itis electric car with 4 engines. why not. it just a setting.
Most AWD cars can do that maybe not FWD but rwd and AWD
It says a lot about other manufacturers when a super car like this has a more intuitive and friendly infotainment than most other electric cars.
for that price, I would hope it would...
Manufacturers should stop removing physical buttons for climate control and everything
Tesla envy is very powerful.
You are giving them too much credit if you think a manufacturer made a car from scratch knowing very well they made this car based on improvements from existing electric cars and their respective features to avoid a hefty cost of R&D. Its easy to be intuitive when you didn't do all the trail blazing
LOL@@jazzfan7491
the design of Nevera is completely in-house, merger with Bugatti happened after Nevera was already presented
I think the way it was designed and build, all in house and custom parts, made the Porsche guys believe Rimac would be compatible with Bugatti..
Volkswagen didn’t buy Rimac. It’s more the other way around for Bugatti: Rimac bought 55% of Bugatti. Porsche holds the other 45%.
So = Rimac bought Bugatti from Porsche and in return they got some stake in Rimac. Something like that :)
yeah and VW now owns a majority in Rimac too. it's all an interlink of shares, and Porsche owns VW who owns Porsche....
So glad you have insider info, can you tell us more about their 2024 goals?
@@feandil666VW owns 24% (a minority) of Rimac.

Beautiful house that
Been wondering, what do the F's in Triple F mean? Nice clubhouse by the way.
@@Rickiye Probably a reference to their last names, ''Frecka''.
I know this is the Triple F Collection and they have a GTA style garage, but it's still funny that there's just a Bugatti and maybe a Pagani just casually in the background.
IKR?! Just casually sitting outside like it's a Camry or something, lmao. Must be nice to have all that FU money.
Now that’s how you do steering wheel indicators. Tactile buttons
I smell hyundai gonna copy and steal this and use for their cars
OMG I am more fascinated by that MANSION and sprawling estate, and the grounds around it. Wow.
Oh, the Triple F Collection has a channel... many walks and talks.
But is there food?
money laundering
I aint rich by any stretch, but I will NEVER live in a house as big as that is in my life lol. Even if i could afford one in like 30 years.
@@bogboglol why ?
Finally! What a collab and a way to get into a car you never thought you’d get to sit in 😅
Stunning and classy spec. It's very understated for a expensive hypercar. I kinda like it though.. It's got that timeless look that will still look cool years into the future.
I like the name. It's named after a particular kind of storm.
idk about timeless look... Many hypercars kinda look samey to me. But that's for normal cars too. They all seem to settle into the same design principles. To an extend that's because of the underlying technologies and safety standards, like all the cars these days go pretty low with that lip on the front bumpers and the wide high hood mostly for pedestrian safety to scoop them up onto the hood that has a bit of a bufferzone under it to soften the blow. And the hypercars all seem to have that shark like front and the air channels on the side, the strongly rounded cockpit etc. That's just the most efficient way to make the air move around a vehicle I guess. I mean sure when you're a car enthusiast you can tell which car is which immediately cause you're intimately familiar with the details that are different. But really look around and you'll notice how modern cars of the same type all have the same design elements even across brands when you break it down just a little bit. If it wasn't for the grille and the headlights, many cars would start to look awfully similar. I don't think most people who aren't deep into cars would bat an eye if you told them that was... let's say a McLaren. They look hypercarish in a similar way.
How is it underrated, it just came out
@@HuyV When you're building cars at the bleeding edge of performance like that, aerodynamics dictates that you have to design them in this way
This car is like watching CNN, all direct and honest.
Doug DeMuro “I’m going to simultaneously release two videos on the same car on two separate channels.” Marques “Hold my (non-alcoholic, because I’m driving) beer.”
Did you need to spoil this comments section by mentioning that Pimple Ass?
With the studio video its actually 3
Make that 3 for studio! Me: and I’m going to watch all 3 at the same time
"because i'm driving" is useless because marques does not drink in the first place. love that guy
@@kaarteeek Thanks for adding that note. I had no idea. That’s good to know. It just felt wrong to use ‘hold my beer’ on a driving video.
Minor correction about carbon: Wet carbon is created by surrounding a mold with a layer of liquid resin, which is then pressurized to impregnate the resin into the mold (which is actually a cloth). Dry carbon is created by impregnating the resin directly into the fiber and then using an autoclave to bake them together. Wet is heavier and weaker, but cheaper to make. While wet comes out glossy and dry comes out matte, this is merely a finish and can be easily adjusted. This car is most certainly made entirely of dry carbon, but the exterior has a glossy coating.
Wet carbon fiber can also be made matte by sanding. Unless the manufacture states the process, can't really tell what's being used.
@@MrShawZZZ you absolutely can. The way it feels in the hand is just different. And it has a different tone as well. It's actually quite bizarre.
@@spdcrzy interesting, I did not know that.
@@MrShawZZZ while it would indeed be difficult to tell from this video, I think it's safe to assume a $2.2m hypercar setting acceleration records isn't using inferior carbon.

Easter egg on the outside: the large air intakes on the sides, where you feel for the latch, are in the shape of a tie, which is originally from Croatia as well. So a little nod to their heritage.
im just so happy seeing this review even if it took longer than expected. So worth the wait!
I wonder if Marques knows that that one guy who stopped him at a convention a few years ago to say he was a fan was actually Nico Rosberg, F1 world champion and one of the 150 Rimac Nevera owners 👀
I feel like the key shooting out of its little cubby is a feature. First time it happens it emphasizes the power in that car.
This car gave me Knight Rider vibes - always a great video MKBHD!!!
They nailed the haptics. As a design engineer this delights me. And also angers me that everyone else don't understand that most functions should never be touch controlled!
Such an awesome collab! The freckos are such good dudes. Happy they share their collection

Great review. The first time that someone has shown the interior of Nevera in such detail. I'm really impressed with the build quality. Bravo Rimac

VW did not buy Rimac automobili and does not own them. Rimac sold a percentage of the company to Porsche, and in return he received bugatti, and now we have the company Bugatti Rimac, majority owned by Mate Rimac.
Correct me if I am wrong but Porsche is part of the VW group.
@@mnrrobinmoens1998 you are not wrong, but in the video it is implied that vw is the owner, and that is not true when the majority owner is Mate.
@@lukatomic4993 Porche is technicall fully owned by the VW group and porche has a 45% stake in Bugatti Rimac. so it is fair to say that VW group indirectly owns 45% of Bugatti Rimac
@mnrrobinmoens1998 the VW group is owned by Porsche SE.
@@tungstencarbide7255not really, this is litrally from the porche official website: Porsche and Volkswagen merged in 2011. At that time, Porsche was designated a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG (interestingly, besides being the Porsche parent company, VW also owns Audi, Bugatti, and Lamborghini). So, from that standpoint, Volkswagen AG is the company who owns Porsche.
This is the video I’ve been waiting for.

Koenigsegg Regera (hybrid ice) actually bested the Nevera', 0-400kph-0. So that's the best comparison.

@@paskowitz on a track yeah, but I'm talking about distance,Nevera would win 1/4 mile,1/2 mile and a 1 mile race, and after that they both would reach top speed, and Rimac's top speed is little higher,Regera will surpass the Nevera only when Rimac's batteries will die or overheat
@@sssssss8946 I compared the two videos of each run and I humbly present to you a "I was right, Paskowitz was wrong" award... lol. 2.5M... But the trunk needs to be lifted up...
Should compare this against the Lucid Sapphire, a bargain at $250k and performance numbers rival this plus it's a 4 door. It will have higher production numbers and be a true mass produced car, so if this is the king of production EVs it won't be for long and calling it a production car is maybe overstated.
250k is a lot of money.. You can buy a Ferrari supercar for that much or a top of the range S class Mercedes with all it's built quality and luxury. Who on earth would buy an ugly looking, unknown average built quality Lucid for quarter a Million.
