  • Whenever spoked wheels are mentioned, it's important to point out whether or not they are tubeless. By the looks of the valve stems, my guess is that they are indeed tubeless.

    @mikearensdorf@mikearensdorf11 ай бұрын
    • Le ruote sono tutte tubeless, solo moto cross enduro hanno camera d'aria o qualche max enduro col 21, ma le moto tutte sono tubeless

    • Specs say tubeless. But the other poster is very incorrect. A lot of bikes are tubed ie new transalp, all spoked enfields, vstrom, early v85tt, mg v7 specials… klr 650.

  • Nice review mate.i got 2 points for those interested. 1.KTM and cfmoto arent just in for the distribution.CFMOTO actually makes KTM engines,many videos of the production line can be found here in youtube. 2.The "little bit giddy" problem is solved with the latest firmware update they released about 2 months ago.Now you got full power from the moment you touch the throttle.

  • I have one in Australia and the only issue for me is the Jerkyness on low speed. The on off throttle can be improved a lot with better air filter sealing or aftermarket air filter.

    @erosas887@erosas887 Жыл бұрын
    • exctly, i feel like he should've mentioned it because it was an issue i found when test riding one, that was the main issue i found while city riding and when letting the engine rev lower instead of pulling the clutch

    • They have pushed out a software update to re-do the throttle body mapping and smooth things out. You can even do the update through the app

      @steenmcnelliey@steenmcnelliey Жыл бұрын
    • @@steenmcnelliey Mine has all updates and the issue is not fixed. If it improves 10% it is not enough when the throttle is 50% worse then in other brands. I think it can be fixed only if something is replaced. People say that replacing the air filter with the DNA air filter improves a lot, but the issue is still there. The bike is great in other situations. The problem is the low speed fuelling only for me. When I know that I will get traffic I use my v Strom which is cooler and has a much better fuelling, and when travelling or mostly highway I use the cfmoto. It is far from a unicorn motorcycle.

      @6butcha6@6butcha6 Жыл бұрын
    • @@erosas887 Thanks for the info. I have had a similar fuelling stumble on V-stroms with aftermarket pipes. With stock pipe, no prob. I was looking at the 800MT touring as a replacement for 650 Strom as it is close in design ethos but wary of anything KTM for reliability concerns. Was also considering Triumph Tiger 900GT but it is overkill, expensive and inconvenient taking to Triumph to reset service warning reminders.

      @Hemlck@Hemlck Жыл бұрын
    • Depending on the country, the KTM costs the same or is even cheaper. Not to mention the Transalp. And the 800 MT easily consumes 5.5-6l/100km, it requires a remapping otherwise it can be jerky (google ECU update), sometimes has quickshifter problems, there is no traction control or cornering ABS which KTM has (CF moto only has an engine licence, without all the electronics). A pointless choice at this money.

    • Depreciation is verryyyy high in Australia for cfmoto motorcycles. The 800mt costs $14900 new and the average price for sale just after leave the store is $11500, but there is one 2022 selling at the moment with 460km on the clock for $10000. Fuelling in low speeds is very disappointing to the level I thing some type of recall should be applied. On the highway it is fine, but for city riding you need to work the clutch a lot to move in low speeds.

  • Its funny because KTM is legendary for issues and engine trouble on there street bikes ... at least here in the EU. I know 2 people that had there super dukes replaced with engine trouble after almost 1 year of back and forward with the dealer, what a disaster ... This chinese partnership both explains why and most likely why the the CF moto engines will be equally or more unreliable. And for that price wow... I was expecting a lot more. Realistically you might want to spend just a bit more for a Tiger 900 ...
