    • I think the GP version of the XSR900 really sorts out the look of the bike. The XSRs are a bit muddled in styling, and the sloping line under the tank never felt retro to me. Wrapping it in a fairing and a snappy paint job does wonders.

    • @@SteveSmith-wk9dx I grew up seeing bikes like this so the styling really works for me. Mid 80’s Yamaha’s are my favourite style of bike. I owned a 1996 Yamaha FZR 600 for a few years and loved it.

    • @@max30888 ay no problem. It's a little bit different bike to bike, but overall moto guzzis (which i have more chance of riding) do require you to have it warm up or the transmission is hard to shift. I've never ridden them so hard that over heating is an issue but did hear stories of them prone to heat. In terms of clutch pull they lean towards the heavy side but nothing out of ordinary modern bikes. My dad's vstar 1100 has way heavier pull than any bmw or guzzi dries. Umm in terms of wear I'm not so sure of BMW's cause I never owned them, but it's about the same for guzzi vs my own bonneville. But I do long distance most of the time now.
