  • That truck looks 100 times better with those fender flares y'all made for it. Elon should take notice.

    @calvinh.8882@calvinh.8882Ай бұрын
    • I think the issue is wind drag. The fenders definitely improved the look, but will most likely hurt efficiency, which to each consumer may not be an issue, but the ones that buy the truck and try to get the most range it will be an issue. Its all good though, the aftermarket will have the consumers back.

  • 4 quarts of oil is about 7 pounds. 21 quarts of oil is about 36 pounds. So in a situation where the ring gets hooked on something, it's far safer to wear a generic rubber ring. It's even safer not to wear a ring at all. I used to wear a ring, but stopped when a friend of mine lost a finger by shorting his wedding ring across a truck battery.

  • Put hydraulics on CyberTrax and a HUGE subwoofer setup on that battery because you would need 10 alternators to provide that battery current otherwise. I literally typed this early in the video and once you mentioned hydraulics I realized this was not just coincidental, I needed to edit and bring something up for you to consider. I put hydraulics on 3 vehicles in my time but that was 20+ years ago. 16 switches will require 4 pumps and 4 dumps or 2 pumps with a gnarly custom made 8 dump manifold and a few extra check valves. Buy lots of extra keys for between the pump head and the motor of the hydraulic pumps because I am sure you guys are gonna put some to the test. 48 Volts might be quick enough (especially with the available amperage) but I don't know what that cyber truck weighs. I would be willing to help brainstorm or even help build. I worked in TV production for 13 years with many networks, mainly for ESPN working as a traveling utility for Monday Night Football. I was an Avionics tech in the Air Force. I am unemployed and would love to help you guys with any project even if its just 1. Thanks for reading.

  • I have been watching your videos for a couple of yearS or more and have to say it is great to see how much evolution is happening right in front of everybodys eyes. You use to be in a smaller shop, had less toys, less equipment and largely focused on towing. These days you are opening up to all sorts of possibilities and having fun doing it. Witnessing your growth, educating yourself, experimenting with things many only dream of, then educating and entertaining the public through your videos....EXCELLENT JOB!! I have always said, if people open up, come together on projects and technology WE as a whole can accomplish almost anything. People are generally scared of innovation, scared of losing the "traditional" things in life. Imagine, a phone that we can use while we drive, without a long cord. Imagine, heating your food up in seconds. Imagine, a power saving diode emitting more light than a tungsten bulb...evolution...who woulda thunk it? LOL. If WE come together and support innovation, it will be much easier, and more enjoyable to progress with success rather than regress or not even trying. EV's may not be for every application or best for all conditions however, if we keep trying WE'LL get there. One of the first cars ever built was electric...Jay Leno owns one. Thanks for helping others see the potential, and thanks for your videos.

  • I have a customer at my work that is in the engineering side of the suspension of that truck and he and all of them at Tesla have seen these videos. He said that upper control arm was designed the way it was because if it was stiffer and didn’t crush when damaged that it would push into the front or rear tub of the chassis and basically total the truck.

I gotta say, your livin the life I I've been wanting to live just havnt gotten any kind of opportunities to get myself anywhere close to your guys level but anyways, I was just gonna say that you should test that battery life by hauling a trailer behind it and test it goin up I-70 to Eisenhower tunnel. That's where you could test the balls if any truck. Then lift it 6-8inches with 35's-38's and then test it haulin a trailer again to see how that battery holds up. I knw you could buy a battery expansion kit for that truck but it's gonna make thing heavy af. Btw, you should take that Blackhawk to Texas shooting shooting hogs from the air.. Anyways, I'm definitely a fan and I love the content. And I'm out 👊

I love big block engines that make massive amounts of power. I've followed many EV brands from first drawings to (sometimes) actual production and they've always intrigued me... Cyber truck is cool as hell but far out of my price range, what I'm eyeballing right now is an Aptera. 3 wheels, all powered, 1000 miles of range on a single charge and it has solar panels to charge it!
