Today’s video is an in depth look at my first ever wrestling tournament as A jiujitsu brown belt. I breakdown my 5 matches for the day
At this tournament I was able to place 1st and 3rd on the two brackets I participated in this weekend at the mat return open.

Your axtually lightyears ahead of the guys you were competing against you just lacked comprehension in certain positions. The first guy couldnt hold you down which is why he kept letting you up and that pin you got at the end was super creative. Your wrestling should be an extension of your jiujitsu. Instead of shooting from the outside you should set up your offense from any of the tie variations (underhook, overhook, russian, two on one etc) you already have a high level of awareness its really just understanding the ruleset
