    • @@ninobach7456no doubt, but when people are standing upright, it’s an inefficient method-unless you can push him hard enough to commit to pushing back. On of my biggest grievances with BJJ rules is that they don’t call stalling for backing up like they do in wrestling. If you’re just backing up, you’re not trying to get anything done. So, changing that rule will have a massive impact

From wrestling to leg locks, we should never be complacent with our training. I love that your always working on a complete game for yourself, your students and your viewers. Bravo.

All the work, detail, and awesome narration has provided great anatomical insight to how to manipulate someone's body to where you wanna go. I have used many of your tools teaching wrestling techniques to my son and his team. We made it all the way I state.

  • As a former wrestler who often competes against upright-standing judokas, I'm definitely going to use the stiff arm to single. I usually just blast double, but this is much more efficient.

    @patrickcoyne3211@patrickcoyne32116 ай бұрын
    • Same! You could probably also bait someone into lowering their stance after a few stiff arm singles too.

    • @@CoachKevanKillsitoh dude 100%!!! This is exactly how I taught heavyweights in highschool how to wrestle. I would get some big football players and teach them a stiff arm single, elbow post single, blast double, and then a good push to a snap front headlock off the opponent’s push back. They could go from not knowing what to do to owning people on the mat. I would tell them to just avoid collar ties and follow that method. It was crazy how effective it was
