    • @@Zurvan101 They're incompetents who were handed everything to create a good show. Their egos on the back of other people's work (actors, GRR Martin's story) succeeding got them arrogant. It was one of the funniest falls from grace I've ever seen. Rushed the final 2 seasons, completely brushed aside any and all criticism about the direction from the actors and other people.... all so they could helm a star wars project which they were then kicked off of because they're incapable of creating anything new/good without someone doing the heavy lifting for them. Serves them right.

    • i read that the masked woman was a shadowbender similar to the red priestess, so i think shes just another priestess of the god of light. which would explain why she seemed prophetical and wanted to protect Daenerys

    • @@jj-vu5ov her name was Quaithe. She's a more important character in the books, but even then we don't really know anything about her. All she's really done in the books is give Dany trippy visions and vague prophecies and warnings. Her motives still aren't really known, but she does seem to be helping Dany, and there are lots of theories about who she might be.

  • I love how the Dothraki guard is like "Ooooh shit somethin's about to go down." Dany's Khaleesar plays really close attention to the atmosphere when it comes to keeping her safe!

  • It wasn't explained in the show, but dragons actually exude magic into the world. In the books it was mentioned that the little tricks the local magicians & performers would do had their power increased ten fold when Danny and her dragons were near.

  • The Warlocks of Quarth, a very old guild of mages. Their Magic seemed to become strong again while the Dragons where close, and the Servants are either disguised Warlocks or somehow mentally controlled at this time. The Way they actually gain Power is ment to be Mystical

Euron only captured ONE SMALL GROUP from the house of the undying, led by Pyat Pree. Those were NOT all the warlocks, genius. There are warlocks even at Asshai and in other cities. Learn how to read, kiddo. Also, you're factually wrong. We know Euron killed ONE warlock, and then fed him to the rest of his group. Other warlocks started being used as human sacrifices later, they were not starved to death.

  • It's based on the book, that doesn't mean it has to follow every detail about it. Game of Thrones was made to reach a wider audience that A song of Ice and Fire does not, it was not made to please all the readers of the books. So if you don't like it, don't watch.

The books became very popular after the show aired, and most people that started reading the books after the show ended admitted the books were always far superior. The audience tend to like the villains more than the heroes in many cases, so I can definitely see a much darker version of the same protagonist to be a fan favourite... And no, most of the fan favourites in the show are as popular in the books amongst the fandom, if not more. As for the delay the best art takes time to be finished, and I would prefer a delayed but excellent book than a rushed and bad one.

  • Never understood why the sorcerer decided to trap daenaerys and the dragons. If his only interest was the magic the dragons gave him...it would have served him much better to ally with daenarys. Plus he could have been a valuable ally.

    • Nixion Trial You are right. I re-watched the episode. Apparently the creepy dudes magic becomes more powerful when the mother is with her dragons. So that's why he wanted to trap her their with her dragons.

    • Sort of what Haile said, but actually... All necromancers become more powerful when the lady is with her dragons. SO if Danaerys is forced to be with her dragons permanently even in a cage, then necromancers will be powerful for an eternity. But if she dies, or her dragons die, all necromancers lose their ability to use magic.
