I want my hearing protection safety device! Defund ATF!
Do you think if we make a petition or something and show the clowns on Capitol Hill they will see “hey this is America after all”
@@7.62x39Gonly if petition is code for something else
@@7.62x39Gplease, I willing to help in anyway and I know millions of Americans are too
@@7.62x39G I’ll sign it! But I think our elected officials are too dumb to figure it out!!
@@7.62x39GLol... cute. You still think you are part of any majority in the US 😂
You forgot to mention that beretta's can function with no booster because its not a browning tilt action.
Agreed. You would think these youtube experts would know that only browning tilt action barrels need a booster to compensate for the pistol's action lifting the additional weight of a suppressor hanging off the muzzle.
@ldb906 youd think lol but Ive never tried my beretta without a booster because its easier to not swap the booster out lmao and if it cycles with my form1 can itll cycle with any can haha shes chunky
Not my Beretta. At least not with my Octane HD (ss baffles). I had heard this same tale AND it is true that a Beretta bbl does not tilt (the lugs fall away). So.... I took the Booster out my SWR Octane, attached it to my M9A3 and NOPE, it does NOT work. Maybe they didn't mention it because they've actually tried it?
@@Ten_Mil_Willmakes sense to me. Even though berettas M9/92 don’t have tilting barrels, they still operate on Newton’s laws and the energy of the cartridge has to overcome the extra weight (and inertia) of the silencer to unlock the action. Same goes to rotating locking actions. although I heard they basically unscrew the silencers by themselves if it doesn’t have an additional locking mechanism. The only pistols that can be suppressed with no considerations about weight are the ones with fixed barrels like many .22lr, .32 and .380 acp.
yeah I'm considering probably going to get an F4 for my beretta.
Those sound loud af...
ooof...that first shot at 13:15 min did not look intentional
He didn’t shoot?
Yeah. He hid his surprise well.
Personally, I appreciate the emphasis on responsible ownership and safety measures discussed here.
You talking about 8:30 when he flagged his hand with a loaded gun? Pretty safe.
you can see he drops the magazine, shoots the last round in the chamber before he puts his hand in front. proabbly still should have checked it but it was unloaded.@@xSikks
Sounds loud af to me....super echo too
If you shoot supers no matter the suppressor it will make the sonic boom
The beretta doesn’t need a booster. That’s why it’s one of the best suppressor hosts.
13:18 looked like a negligent discharge
Agreed, but he kept it pointed down range so no harm done.
😂I was looking through the comments to see if anyone else caught that.
Looks like it.
My first pistol suppressor is the Rugged Obsidian 45 for my FN FNX-45 Tac and M9A3. It works great and now also for my FN-510 Tac. However, it’s heavy for a 9mm so looking into a specific 9mm suppressor. Right now leaning towards Q Erector 9 since I also have a Q Erector .22 and that is pretty awesome too.
How is it for balance on the FNX?
Which one you like better ?
Looking at getting a OSS rad9 for my 9mm guns.I have a Rugged Obsidian 45 and it works great on 9mm guns as well as my AP5.
my sp-5 has an omega 9k in can purgatory at the moment, but it sounds amazing with subs, shoots perfectly too lol
Definitely needed this info
Thanks for the video. I just bought got my first pistol suppressor after nearly a year waiting and can't wait to get it to the range.
This process makes no sense. I bought mine 2-3 weeks ago & it was ready earlier this week. Now I’m waiting on my piston so I can actually use it lol
@@dominicgray2187 they changed the entire process for e-forms in February of 2024 to streamline the approvals. I just started the process yesterday for a new sig modx-9 and I'm hoping I get one of these 4 day approvals like lots of other people are getting.
As much as I would like to have a suppressor/silencer. I can't afford them, besides I refuse to support the NFA.
I am having a bit of a nightmare trying to get my first suppressor. ATF did and audit on my FFL and now is not transferring the approved suppressors. What a head ache.
The 10" "fuel filters" for 20 bux are the best 🤣 At least the 10" ones have the "fuel" baffles correct to that of the 6" filter version .
I believe this is the problem Chris from the channel Honest Outlaw has been facing with his new pistol.. as I've said before he basically needs a booster.
Waiting for my Form 4 to clear. Can't wait to take it to the range.
I have the Silecerco Osprey 45 K it works really well when paired with my FNX 45 tactical.
love the fnx45 unfortunately im stuck with a octane45 and its good just a little too long. got it with the BOGO deal. maybe I can stick it on an ar.
Bear in mind that the Osprey 45 has a spring piston. That is the same thing they're calling a booster, so it makes perfect sense it works for you. I've used mine on everything from .380 to .45ACP and it's flawless.
I got that same can on my mark 23
When the silencer is longer than the slide, it's safe to say...f that
Just for my own clarity, what they are calling "boosters" are Nielsen devices, right? Or are they two different things?
I run a banish 45 on my m9a4 with 165gr rounds and it’s a great time. Great video guys always love to watch your content.
I just got the same can. Do you run a booster with m9a4 or no? I have standard m9. Ive seen both with and without all over forums
I ordered an adapter to put my flow 556 on my m&p 5.7, think it will work?
Only need a booster if the handgun has a tilt action barrel
You really should have started out showing us how subs sounded out of the suppressors, then added in some supers at the end.
Jk 105 ccx also doesn’t need a booster. Not as great as suppression but super light, modular, and doesn’t need suppressor height sights
And adds meaningful supression at its smallest modular size at 1.4 inches, esp when ran wet. Small enough for me to carry it every day appendix
Need some more suppressor reviews. I love my griffin armament cans
Which ones do you have and what’s been your experience. I am currently looking at griffins line up and have been scouring the internet for reviews.
@baddadjokes9330 I've got the rev 45 which I like because I can shoot my Pistol and remove the booster to run on my pcc. I can also remove the a section to make it a k configuration. I can also change out the threads and end plate to convert it to other calibers particularly 9 in my use. Then I have the recce 7 for my ar 10 but I also have a muzzle break for my ar 15 so I can shoot my 556 with it as well and soon will be getting a break for my ak so I can use it on there as well.
@@borocamo thank you for the info. Why did you pick the recce7 over their other 30 cal. suppressor options?
@@baddadjokes9330 mostly because of the deal I got on it. Nothing really specific
Great information.
What optic is that on the dark earth Sig pistol?
Maryland is wild, thousands of dollars in fees and 6 months wait time for the ability to purchase and conceal and pistol. Suppressor has basically no requirements and are legal.
I realize you were testing sound and feel, but you didn't mention the other factors when choosing a suppressor (i.e. backpressure, POI, weight, serviceability, etc.). On most shots I wasn't able to hear you ringing the targets, and since I know you guys can shoot it likely mean the POI is being dramatically affected. HTH
Could you do a buyers guide for rifle suppressors and 300blk
With an AR style of rifle use a 9 inch barrel with about a 6-8 inch suppressor. Use subsonic rounds (190 grains +) and it'll be quiet. About the same or a bit less than a 22 LR.
What would be the best suppressor for my P226-MK25/P229 in 9mm?
I'm in the process of getting the OSPREY 9 2.0 for my P226 myself. Gonna be my 1st supressor 😁
So much for It suppressing...Yall forgot the silence part in silencer..🙄
Did you notice a difference in recoil between the cash9 and the F4?
The audio sounds a little loud being an suppressor
probably not using subsonic rounds.
I got to screw around with one recently on a .300 blk ar. That sold me I need one
13:17 was that an ND? 🤔🤫
Still sounds loud, how much noise reduction do these typically offer?
More of Clint plz
So does the Mojave 9 come with the booster?
Here's the question... why a Nielsen Device on the Baretta? Considering a non-moving barrel...
You’re getting a lot of echo down in that tree covered hollow
Would you carry a p320?
Where is classic firearms website ?
Everything changes when running subs
Why that smg not have a brace! They are legal now 😂
Have you guys ever had you draw your concealed weapons IRL??
Two times the price of the Holosun EPS and to me doesn’t do anything better for my use case. If the price got down to. 500ish I would be more willingly to put them on my guns.
Thanks! This video is was a helpful start for me! I have a Kel-Tec Sub2000 that I would like to suppress, but there are a ton of options to sort through. One problem I see with cans is that they are so long, and I want the shortest one practical for my S2K.
Ita a give and take longer cans suppress better generally. If I were looking for a pistol can it would be the resilient rsp and an rs9 for dedicated pcc stuff.
You can get one that’s modular, that way you can change the size of the van till you find the right size vs amount of suppression.
@@jimmyschock9395 Thanks!
@@chrisjosekuehl Thank you; that's a good point.
Beretta probably runs great
You should have not shot in a "holler"..Echo makes the shots sound louder.
Great Stuff 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
This silencer sound like cooking gas launcher.
Too late. I've already gone a done it x 2
I definitely want a CA$H 9 😁
Repeal the NFA
Looks like that Ca$h was much more gassy than the F4, if all that smoke was any guide...
All these sound way louder than my rifle suppressors. Thats sad. 9mm is what 1400fps?? Sheesh sad they are still that loud
147gr 9s my guys
matts grip needs some work lol
Why did the P320 not cycle with the 45 can?
My leading theories are not enough gas going back to the booster or just the .45 can being too heavy in general.
Why is that other guy shooting wrong handed? 😂
They should repeal the NFA for sure. The ATF needs to go away. All that they do could be done by the FBI.
I would really like to see the SP5 with a Gemtek Lunar 9 (3-lug) instead of threaded. Wondering if there is a difference
Are you two rockstars using suppressed ammo because it too darn loud!
Still super loud
That first one is a waste of money! LOL where’s the supression? There isn’t any supression of sound at all!
I've heard muzzle brakes do more to suppress than these so called suppressers..............
These must be crappy supressors
Dear Glock - plz learn how to thread a Fkn a barrel, thanks 👍
Supressor rule number 1: buy a rifle can that can be used with 9mm or 45. Cant use a pistol can on a rifle. But you can use a rifle can on a pistol.
But problem with rifle supressors in pistols is that most pistols operate with tilting action and will not cycle with solid rifle supressors. So you need to get pistols like beretta action which will work with solid supressors whitout needing booster. I dont get why our guys didnt mention that quite important small fact in bit more clearly. Of course any supressor will work in pcc/submachine gun because most cases barrel is solid and only bolt is moving. mp5 style roller delay is just nicer to shooter because it keeps action closed little bit longer so less gas to shooters face than we usually have with more common blowback operation. This whole video about supressors and overally so little actuall usefull information. Unfortunately not first, not even second time those guys who should know something about firearms share totally wrong information which should be easy to check by 1 min googling before mention things as fact in video.
@Kesssuli true. Depends on can a little bit tho. My first can was a banish 45 and could buy the part at the base of the can for fixed barrel or tilting barrel separately. I'm sure not all cans are like that as this was a user serviceable can.
Rugged suppressors....👍
Just saying to all who’s hesitant on getting one because of the wait time just know they are way better now I just got two approved in less than two weeks submitted on 12/30/23 got it back today 1/8/24
Yet another gun KZheadr with "paid sponsors" who doesn't mention the FN 509 & 509 Tactical instantly hydro locks and trigger dies when submerged in water......
Dont glocks also do this? Thats why the maritime spring cups are a thing
What’s the point if it still sounds like these? Waste of money and exposure to atf for what? Slight recoil change? Not worth it
Nothing can supress a super sonic crack. It can still have many benefits though. Signature reduction, sound reduction, friendly to neighbors, protect your hearing. Not really necessary though. So if you still have things to obtain, like other gear you want to prioritize or training, then don't feel like your missing out by not having one... yet.
LOUD AF
*im just here for the shitting on DA comments*
Can't call a semi auto a SMG sry
👽🥃😷🍕🎱
Explain to me why civilians need suppressed firearms please?
So you don’t destroy your families ears (if applicable) or yours if an unwanted guest appears in your safe haven.
Hearing protection. It’s not silent like the movies it’s just suppressed enough to not need ear plugs
Also the second right in the bill of rights says “shall not be infringed” so there’s no need for any questions at all
Explain to me why I need a reason to need anything
Safety. It's designed for Hearing Protection. That's It. I'm surprised it's not been "Regulated" mandatory yet? It also Captures Carbon to fight climate change. They probably don't want to give carbon credits to the good guys?
You been doing ur push ups like a good boy
Did someone have an ND @13:18? 🫣🤦🏼
