I love it when Alzabo make video with cool story like this. It's impressive how Ida went from being an abused child with all odds against her, to becoming one of the greatest Kaiserin not only of the Habsburg dynasty, but the entire Europe.

I wondered if you would actually get around to making the actual Archduchy of Austria since you can't be the HRE Emperor at the time, IIRC.
playthrough suggestion: Recreate the Babylonian Empire, but instead of worshipping marduk, create a religion that worships his enemy, Tiamat.
Ck2 and CK3 come up with great stories for various characters. It's very entertaining. ❤💯

I really wanted to do this kind of campaign since the first time i played this game, but i'm too stupid to understand even the game's basic mechanics, let alone juggling between diplomacy and intrigue. Seeing this campaign is truly a dream come true. Really looking forward to part 2 😄

The new Habsburg achievement I require some clarification: It says Don't wage war. What does this mean? No offensive wars? No defensive wars? How about Alliance wars? I have alliances but I keep rejecting the call to war, because I don't know if it will lock me out of the achievement. It says Don't wage war. So my best guess is absolutely no wars at all. Maybe not even peasant uprisings. I hope it only means no offensive wars that you initiate.
Only offensive wars in fact! If you check in game in the achievements tab you can select "possible achievements for this game" and AEIOU was always possible for me. The game didn't consider my defensive wars or faction claims as wars. So you should be good!

It matches what I would have suspected, since faction claim wars technically are defensive wars - you just "peacefully" present your totally sensible demands to your liege and ask him to agree and in return your liege declares war on you. That's also why the kidnap/imprison trick works with faction claim wars. You can't usually declare war on a ruler that you already have imprisoned, it only works because the liege is the one who declares the war in response to your demands.

Great dinasty. Espacially Werber and Ida. I mean, only Werber and Ida.
Sounds as peacefully as that game where you stab the king on the back and you take the crown and you have to stop everyone from murdering you back, It's a cool mechanic Factions should have more power, like they could declare that your family is not allowed to visit them or travel trough their land. Or that the game punishes you for making the same character over and over again, like gaining stress if you repeat the same things your father did, and if everyone hates an event fires where people gain piety by capturing your character. Imagine a Casus belis of imprisoning someone because they murdered their family members, and then your vassals get mad at you and they force your dynasty to get Exiled.
I was so proud of my self when I got this achievement. it is probably one of my favorite runs I've ever done on Ck3

This is amazing, Mr. Alzabo, for the Habsburgs being in charge of HRE in our own timeline, but in this alternate timeline, they're the ones who rule the HRE through schemes, manipulation, and torture anybody gets in their way of power even if it includes their family members. Empress Ida reminds me of Queen Victoria, for she and Victoria had some tragic childhoods. The difference between Ida and Victoria; is that Ida lost her father, and her mother became regent but abused her as a child resulting in Ida becoming a villainess tyrant of her upbringing and gaining revenge for the person who caused her pain by having her killed. For Victoria, her father, Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, had died before he could impact her life, and some sources are saying Prince Edward would have been the parent Victoria needed if he survived the disease that killed him. Her mother, Princess Dowager Victoria, was very protective towards her daughter as she and the secretary Conroy made the Kennington system to make Victoria dependent on them. The Dowager Princess feared for her daughter's life because most relatives wanted the future heir thrown out of the picture. Unlike Ida, Victoria did not become a wicked person but a great Queen for her kingdom, but as a mother. Sorry if I compare the two, I wasn't trying to be offensive, but this video reminds me of Queen Victoria. But this is an excellent video, and I would like to see a part two. No matter what obstacles keep coming your way, always stay true to your dreams, for your goals and objectives are yours alone, not anybody's.

Nice video but I think there's a bait and switch announcement at the very beginning. The AEIOU achievement necesitate to form the archduchy of Austria. Which means you can't be of higher status than duke and the emperor has to be of a different dynasty than yours in order to trigger the decision. It's quite more difficult than brute forcing your ass into the emperor seat. I tried a few times and it's really tricky.

Whenever a new AlzaboHD video hits the youtube algorithm (or my subscription box for that matter) I know I am in for a good time (especially with CK3, but personal preference I guess). As an Austrian though I can not forgive you for making Linz the capital, even most people here hate that ugly shithole. Also if you ever want some guidance on the pronunciation of some of the german / austrian terms feel free to reach out, even though I d argue that that the butchering of names from other languages is the Alzabo special. Grats on the great video, keep 'em comming.
If you find this interesting, I have an idea for a future CK3 story idea. What do you think about doing a story of an Indo-Roman Empire with the Newalkar Dynasty unified India and expanding outside India, and forming an alliance with the Byzantines against the might of the Seljuk Turks by having one of the sons married to a Byzantine Princess. What else would be interesting for this story idea is that the Byzantine Senate selected the Marahaj of Jhansi to become Byzantium Emperor and combined India and the ERE ( Eastern Roman Empire) into a mighty empire that would expand into South Asia and Eastern Europe. And making alliances with the Western catholic kingdoms, bringing Italy back into Romans' imperial control, and being crowned Roman Emperor by the Pope. What do you think of this idea, AlazboHD? A great idea to do, and if you're confused about who the Newalakars are, I would kindly give some information links about them, and if you want, you can choose which Indian dynasty would be best to rule Rome and India? What about the Mughals? The Mughals are an excellent choice for this story idea.
Yeah, I don't regret disabling most stress related events. Having each emperor assume power with level 3 stress is bullshit, a spiral of stress that you cannot erase.
