But I'm saying their chemistry and this storyline has a lot of potential that would be a shame to not make a BL with. You know you can make a remake of something with a different outcome and have both versions be great in their own way right? This drama itself is an adaptation of BL webdrama with yet a different outcome.

They really robbed us of a BL. And it was still so obvious in the way his girlfriend wasn't his go to.When he was at his worse, he never looked towards his girlfriend.He always shut her out. She wasn't his comfort zone. In fact she was basically the third wheel in the relationship. 😂

One became mature before age so he knew how this society works and that's why he numbed his all emotions and other one knows how people take advantage of him that's why he started searching for true friendship .and they both have struggled enough to face reality. Even after this they'd found peace in each other .what a true and lovely friendship.
I love this show a lot! I watched this last year and thought this was the most underrated kdrama of 2021. I guess this show was the reason I subscribed to iQIYI then 😅 Fell in love with Park Jihoon and Bae Inhyuk because of their characters and great acting. Look at them now, excelling in their respective dramas in November 2022! I hope to see them together again soon.

Yours is the FIRST that I've seen that isn't confusing, does a great job telling the storyline and showing how much chemistry they have at the same time. This show never fails to bring tears to my eyes. Ji-hoon is just such a good actor and everything he plays in is a master piece, But this one is by far my favorite. Literally you guys its so good that it didn't have to be a bl for me to watch it and all i watch are bl's.

Why am emotional after watching this? Like I’ve never seen this series, but your video explained and put together all I needed to know about this pair’s dynamic. I might look into the whole series but I can already tell from this that it’ll make me mad and also really sad.
The people saying that this should have been a BL clearly missed the fact that what Yeo Joon and Nam Soo Hyun both truly needed was a friend. I love So Bin but I honestly think this drama would have been even better if they had skipped the romance completely, because it wasn't needed.
I'd agree with your point in any other drama but the webtoon this is based off is a BL so it feels like they just straightwashed the plot and the obvious chemistry of the two male leads makes it such a shame.

I mean, the romance was essential for Jun’s healing because what he needed was love. I just wish they wrote Sobin’s character differently because she gives off damsel in distress vibes. But tbh I really like her after stage starts dating Jun, cause she gets some character development then

In my opinion, even if they didn't want it to be a bl they should have just left it as bromance without the girl. She didn't really affect the story so whether she was there or not it wouldn't have changed anything. Some dramas are good even without romance.

@@nessabrcb5137 maybe but the story wasn't going in that direction since the beginning for them. and it's about a stoic man who suppresses his feelings towards other people and finally opens up to someone and experiences platonic real love and care for a friend. that kind of enforces the idea that relationships like that are always going to end with romance especially between men (which are fetishised excessively now) that makes it harder to see and appreciate such beautiful bonds between two male friends.
