turn on captions for english subs Well. What can I say? It's been forever since I fell so hard for a character. Yeo Jun is my baby. Watching his relationship with Nam Soo Hyun grow, how they came to understand and rely on each other, was really beautiful. There were some aspects of the drama that I feel could have been done a bit better, and I tried to kind of make this happen in my edit. I'm not sure I succeeded. Anyway. I love these two idiots so much.

This drama reminds me of my friend who have passed away sadly. She had similar things happening, her family called her names, beaten her and wished her to never be born, 1 year later after she free herself from them, she found out that she had a cancer we lost her after her body gave up. And her family didn’t know until a year later. Her family contacted us to see if we have any pictures of her happy smiling but we lied that we don’t, as we promised her that they won’t use her happy pictures to show people that she was happy. When in realty she was dying inside everyday. Dramas like this show that there is love at the end of the tunnel but you need to believe yourself that you can get there.

This show really demonstrated the different lives people live in. Some may be living in a rich family, poor or even abusive Never judge someone by their cover. This kdrama was amazing from beginning to end and made me cry every time. Now I want to watch it again

I can forgive the brother, who was misguided but well-intentioned. But the parents deserve far worse than they got.
I agree, the brother did the wrong thing for the right reasons and it was heartbreaking to watch him realise his mistake. The parents are unexcusable, they deserve to be jailed, although I wanted to believe that the mother acted like that due to her trauma.

no but seeing how the other lead (sorry idk his name, haven't watch the drama yet) throwing harsh words at him even though i know he changed at the end really hurts me so so much. and how the main guy keep acting tough and trying so hard to look unbothered. this is so disturbing, those are words i'd like to forget and never ever hear them again. they aren't even thrown to me but somebody else and it already hurts me on a very deep level and the fact that this happened in real life to sooo many innocent kids out there... no one ever deserves to be treated this way
I would definitely watch it if you haven't yet! It's really good! Also, it's not shown in this video but the other guy was going through horrible stuff too which is why he was so harsh in the beginning. Aside from that, the character of jeo yun (blond hair) was being kind of fake at the start. He was fake with everyone because he didn't want to show he was in pain but soo hyun (black hair) saw right through it because he himself was in pain too and called him out for it.
This is really good. I like the friendship thats being displayed. If this pushed them to be a couple I wouldn't mind, but this drama looks so good and emotional that I don't care if they don't. I feels like they need a real friend and just form this video I can see that they not only know each other real side but need each other as well.(not in a symbiotic way.)

this show was surprisingly heavy and deep although it doesn’t seem like that from the outside… more than anything, i really enjoyed watching these two characters appreciate each other and become good friends despite their differences :’)

Coming here to remember this masterpiece after Park Jihoon acting as Si eun from weak hero and I have to say he's seriously one of my favoite actors the way you can see so much emotion in his eyes.
fr fr his eye acting is amazing. even during the scenes in weak hero where he had no dialogue, just his eyes conveyed a 1000 different emotions
they were in love nothing change my mind. they had so much private time and shared their pain eo. the last ep yeojun's flasbacks and coffee pouring scene was declared it. their moments were so special. i don't even get excited with main couple. now waiting for their own bl series, hopelessly :((
Same. It was really cute what Jun and Bin had with each other but I didn't feel that spark I felt with Joon and Soohyun. It was obvious tbh. Before I even knew that this was originally a BL, I already thought that this would be one (i didn't know it at that time) and I saw the chemistry from miles ago lol.

Man this series remind me of me growing up with those words spoken over my life and I respond to people with a smile. Others sees me with a guy with a beautiful smile Even some says that I’ve got a million dollar smile but little did they know I was broken inside crying out for help. Daaam this series put me into tears from the first episode till the last one.
This was such a beautiful drama to watch. Don't get me wrong what they did to Yeo Jun was horrible but it love how their characters have developed throughout the drama and in the end you can see that both of them found a real friend in each other
I haven't dared watch this on. I can't do sad endings and I just have this feeling. I'm glad there is a friendship though

This drama is one of my favourite... Not everyone who seems happy is actually happy from inside... This hits me hard.. Tbh I dealt with it.. I used to the pain so much that nobody can tell whether I'm in pain or not...

My demons consisted of my depression and ocd and when Soohyun told Jun that he never hated him it reminded me of when I found out that my mother actually didn't hate me. I can never help but cry on that scene.

In the original, the webtoon it's based on, BL is canon and they do end up in a relationship. The directors choose not to include that though... which made me not want to watch it. It's sad because the opportunity would be perfect ;_;

I don't know much else about this drama because I haven't watched it but THIS breaks my heart. His pain must be so unbearable and yet he is bearing it. It's hard, you know? It's almost impossible to give up on your parents even when they're at their worst. Every word they speak and say to you, still has the same effect no matter if you know they mean it or not. And to be told by your parents, your Mum and Dad, that they prefer you were dead or never born hurts so much that I have no adjective to describe it. Even if it's just one moment, one moment of frustration and anger, and you go on to have an okay life with each other afterwards, that one moment sticks out for the rest of your life. Nobody can love you like your parents do in this world. But nobody can hurt you like they can. They were always the strongest people in your life, from the second you're born to when one of you dies. They're the strongest piece, the biggest corner, in your world. Even when your relationship is bad. You can't let go of them as easily as some might believe. And them saying to you that they wish you weren't here, with even a split second of seriousness, it is a pain that never goes away.
