honestly copying mouse shapes is really common. many many companies copy zowie shapes for their mice

It was a solid mouse (and still is, the original one has a very poor braided cable though), I loved using it, but once I started using a lighter mouse I just couldn't go back, even stopped using my Master 2s cause of the weight

I have a g502 and a Basilisk Ultimate. I love the feel of the Basilisk a lot more and it’s definitely using higher quality material. I wouldn’t have gotten the basilisk if it wasn’t for the the g502. I just loved the shape so much but I wanted a bit of an upgrade with the same shape.

@Mingfei Wang you can order the stronger switch to replace you favorite shape mouse and replace it. Mine replace g602, g402 switch from 20mil to omron 50mil and work out just fine ever since.

Hey Dave, I recently got the Cooler Master mm720 and I've been loving it. It's really light and the shape fits the hand really nice, I'd recommend you trying one out!
Honestly I am so used to the G203 design , I will always come back to it. Small , lightweight and it fits my palm perfectly

Think he meant as a concept having a fan cooling your hand while gaming is a great idea. But in practice it's a bad idea because of the sounds and vibrations that come with having a fan inside a mouse. So in theory it is, but realistically it's not.

Was looking for any mentions of the Pwnage mouse and am glad to see the only thing wrong with it is some thing they’ve already fixed. The pwnage mouse has improved software and has multiple shapes. I prefer the Symm 1 gen 2 shape. Going to buy it now. Thanks for the review Dave!

The shape is significanlty better than the G502 in one respect; the buttons are wider for larger hands. I couldn't stand the 502 due to my middle finger constantly resting up against the side of the mouse, half on the button, half off.

I have the same mouse as him (Logitech MX Master 3) and I love it, but I just can't use it for gaming so I have a separate mouse for gaming. Since this is a gaming tier list he prefers lighter and more smaller mice instead of those comfortable big and heavy mice.
@@kdm_6799 Yeah I’m pretty much the same way. I prefer bigger, more ergonomic mice if I’m web browsing or video editing, but I can’t aim as well in FPS games with them. Unfortunately, I don’t wanna spend money on a second mouse rn, so I just use my steelseries rival 110 for everything. If I was Dave I’d definitely be rocking at least two different types of mice.

I have a viper mini rn and am looking to get a wireless one. I really enjoy the viper mini and was looking at the VPU, but at the same time, I don't play ANY FPS or really fast paced games (unless you consider minecraft fast paced lmao). So I was also looking at the Mx Master 3, bc i code and use excel pretty often. My worry is mainly the sensor (ive used the m720 triathlon before and its sensor feels downright slow compared to even the viper mini, which doesn't have the best of the best sensor). I know the mx master 3 has a better sensor but is it still noticeably more sluggish than a gaming mouse? Bc if it isn't maybe the mx master 3 because ill still have the viper mini if I ever am invited to play something, but generally use the mx master 3 for everything else. I'm just caught at this stand still because I know I like the viper mini shape and buttons... I had no problem with the triathlon back then (both weight and shape wise) but my hands have grown too (20.5cm x 8.3cm (without thumb) or 20.5cm x 9.8cm (with thumb)). Any thoughts?

Unfortunately my Razer Deathadder V2 is getting the "double clicks" where it randomly will double click. After 3.5 years of service, a decent amount of gaming, and a moderate amount of abuse, it is time to upgrade. I came here looking for some info and settled on the Razer Viper since I won't have to change much. Thanks for the list. Will be looking more in depth for the S and A tier ranked mice.

Would be nice to see gaming mice in your reviews that have more than two buttons for the thumb. Example, the razor naga trinity has the option of 12 buttons, which I use for World of Warcraft cause of all the skills i need to bind. I'd like to see what else is out there with lots of buttons and how they compare.

what mouse are you using on your laptop when you made this video. I have very large hands and that looked comfortable... I'm not a high end gamer , but enjoy playing if it doesn't hurt too much... also, they used a very similar design for the Basilisk to the G502 , but changed the spec enough to not be sued for copyright infringement, and really, dozens of mice are that close to another in design that they should be called copies

i love my steelseries rival 310, its a super comfy right-handed design. i haven't tested too many gaming mice, but the clicks feel super responsive, i dont have to really lift my finger up, i just sort of stop applying force and it goes back up. my cousin's mouse has super light clicks, and you almost have to put effort into lifting up your finger. i would recommend the rival 310, for a pretty good price of $50

I got the g203 and I love it!! Its the consistent, minimal, clean mouse that I've always wanted. I know logitech always has great build quality and solid sensors, and it doesnt disappoint!

@@raiyannaushad4043 hmmm ngl its hard to choose both of them they are great imo. I owned viper mini and g305 both have different shape and length. Its also depends the way you hold your mice, do you hold claw or palm position. If claw you should go for viper because the hump is much smaller comparing to g203 if palm go for g203 for the slightly higher hump. I actually find my g305 better when resting though i use claw position, this is entirely your preference at this point. Budget wise go g203 if you got extra cash go for viper mini for better skates and sensors. You want more idea go rocket jump ninja channel he explained it very well.
Glorious is selling grip tape for their glorious model o. It covers up the holes, and provides extra grip. I think it is great.

Currently purchasing some mice and seeing what works for me and what are worth. At first it was just trying out new things, possibly letting some friends borrow and try them as well. Can see myself collecting them in the near future. First mouse I got that didn't come with my PC was the Logitech G305 (recommended to me). Since then very few mice matched up to it. However, I feel as though there are other brands and people recognize that ambidextrous/ symmetrical, wireless mice are the way to go. Recently purchased: Razer Orochi V2, Logitech G305 (another one), Logitech G703, HK Gaming Mira-M, and Zowie S1. These are not all wireless nor are they all ambidextrous/symmetrical, but the fit my current criteria for gaming mice. Might purchase Model O, Pwnge, and some others in the future to compare for a "best of the wireless" standard and for personal reasoning. Will update in the future after giving each mouse some time in FPS games.
The model D os the best mouse I've ever had, maybe the design is jus perfect for my hand plus everything else you said, I'll recommend it to anyone who wants to try a light mouse

I have the wireless version of the G203, the G304, and it's got pretty tight latency. For me the one negative about the mouse is that for claw grips and average hands, the frontmost thumb button is almost out of reach and requires a bit of a strain. Oh and obviously Logitch G Hub is a pain just getting to work as intended.
The MX Master is a crazy all-around mouse. Not meant for gaming but for anything else and even light gaming it's splendid! Can't get enough of it myself. I think I waited way too long before replacing my Magic Mouse with the MX Master. Not to mention the colour scheme. GORGEOUS!!
