    • Thankfully haven't noticed this much in road racing, mainly because I'm not that good and hang out the back of the pack most of the day and have fun trying the sprints, but summer last year I saw unbelievable tempers during a 24 hour endurance race, it was on a closed circuit so packs formed and were pushing up the back of slower groups, I joined these groups during the day because drafting was allowed for this race but at night I backed off and stayed out to the sides , you could be enjoying the night time peace just trying to stay mentally focused thinking about your breakfast in the morning and you could just hear two people absolutely tearing into each other across the track 😅

    • @@xmxu7779 I would say the motorbike rider is the last to blame. the two cars create a traffic jam at the worst place possible and the cyclist comes up from behind. So if the cyclist did not have enough room to break in time how is the motorbiker supposed to do this being even closer to the car in this moment? Furthermore, the cyclist runs up and overtakes the motorbiker from the right and behind. The worst place to be seen from the motorbikers perspective. So no, I would not blame the motorbiker. That incident was created further ahead and above all, I would rather blame the race organizers for leading the race through such an obstacle.

We went into the parking lot and into the store to confront barefooted and he was so apoplectic and sweet, knowing that he was up for a drumbeat. • Perhaps the most egregious example is Andy Lakatosh intentionally crashing Jame Carney right after a keirin race at the Lehigh Valley velodrome, 2005. Lakatosh thought Carney impeded his teammate and therefore hit his bars intentionally to make him crash. He did while the race was being filmed and the video is available on KZhead. He was suspended for 6 months. Track director Marty Nothstein and teammate Leigh Barczewski were also suspended due to their forceful defence of Lakatosh.

  • Regarding the Remco wheel change fit, someone clipped him in the echelons causing spokes to break or such, which is why he already was so on edge. Then the mechanic really fumbled things up. Normally losing a bit more time isn't that bad, but with echelons, you can lose a lot of time. The turner incident was Turner and Sheffield riding in the way to stall a break attempt, Turner even at some point cut Remco off when he was moving to the front. Obviously Remco should have played it differently, but it wasn't like his outburst came out of nowhere. Really should show/provide more context in a clip like this.

  • I am amazed by cyclists😱. Like, you need yo be strong but not big, you need insane agility and balance. The lack of space in the lanes?? I would crash in less than 1 foot of the start line.

  • It is amazing how the UCI is a stickler for sock heights, yet is always soft on bad behavior. Intentionally pushing an opponent should always be a disqualification. That they aren’t shows that is still lt a serious sport, held back by its past.
