  • My dear, sweet 83-year-old mum, who passed away from cancer last year, used to say to me, "find something funny" -- and that would often mean watching Josh's stand up routine for the 10th time. I loved to hear her laugh! It kept her mind off of her pain. We shared this one with a lot of family & friends. Thanks, Josh, and Dry Bar!

    • @@BarneeFife Hey Barnee -- Yeah, some things are a proven Litmus test for relationships, like Josh's stand-up! Thanks for your nice note! I listened to it AGAIN on Spotify with my sister while on a road trip and she laughed the whole way! It made it feel like my mom was in the car with us since I could 'hear' her laughing, too.

( the upload date says march of this year but someone must have re uploaded it because it has been out much longer than that) I still laugh every time I watch it and he is from Cincinnati Ohio which is where I'm from so to me it's good to see a hometown guy be this funny

    • Not everybody can be as comically intelligent and in tune as you. The little peons might think he’s funny but they obviously won’t have your deep intellectual appreciations of the nuances of his comedy. Maybe you can teach a class on it or at least write an informative workbook so we can study along at home.

  • The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where "feed" and "seed" both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", implying that the two words beginning with "F" and "S" would have ended with "-uck", rhyming with "Chuck". So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Feeduck and Seeduck".

Gaffigan, Regan, a few others come to mind as having that tight of a hilarious set, without a single moment wasted. But lots of people waste time and mug the camera, mug the audience for laughs etc. Not Josh. The whole vegan bakery root beer donut reaction just about puts me on the floor and that’s just like a minute of this thing.
