@GIBBO4182 After the 1st incident of playing it out from the back, I said to myself this isn't sustainable for 90+ mins. They'll make a mistake as they're not a good enough team to play through city's press (All the time) If I could see that from the 1st 5mins, why couldn't the manager see it?
@@Officialkingz1yeah it would be interesting to see the stats of how a team has played it out from the back without the opposition touching the ball and a goal being scored. It's only the very best players and teams that can do it. Watch Norwich come up again and lose every game because of it.

Ferguson, Estupinan, Milner, Gilmour, Mitoma, Lamptey and Hinshelwood all out. Two of those are key players for Brighton (March and Mitoma) and have been injured for most of the season. Throw in the fact that Brighton do not have the kind of squad depth that the likes of Chelsea, Utd or even Spurs & Villa have at their disposal goes to show just how well he has done. This is just a pathetic level of analysis from Bent and the Utd fan boy...

Only 3 points behind Chelsea ....In the entirety of Graham Porter's stint at Brighton only once did he finish above 11th and that was 9th and he was considered brilliant .

Not a Brighton fan but it’s a shame Mitoma has been injured so much this season. He’s an under the radar player that is quality and very fun to watch. That challenge by Holgate on Mitoma several months ago could have ended his career. Hope he can recover by the start of next season.

Not at all their first time in Europe with a tiny squad and lost three of their best players in the summer. Also a huge injury list, Brighton fans can be proud. Top 7 next season I’m sure.

I agree that Eddie Howe is a great manager, and that he should stay - particularly with the injuries they’ve had. But the same can be said for Ten Haag and Poch. Why don’t the media have the same stance with them?
Absolutely spot on mate especially on Ten Hag but not on Poch. Poch has been given unlimited free passes from the media until to date.

Brighton have had terrible injuries this season. That’s the only reason for bad run of form.
To put it in perspective de zerbi had a amazing season last year the media say but he had a 15 game headstart on villa and emery and villa only finished 1 point behind them . De zerbi is good but not that good

Problem is a team like Brighton they will always sell players to the bigger clubs. He has lost allot of top players. Can’t really judge him.

Mitoma has been carrying that team for a long time, being not fit for the City game showed that.
His attitude has changed since the Roma loss. Moody and sulky. Injuries have been a nightmare. We had 9 players out injured for the City game

He gets totally let off. He gets linked with bigger jobs because he plays sophisticated patterns of play. On actual results though he takes alot of hammerings and on balance is no better than Marco Silva, Iraola and Gary O Neil
You can't win, if Brighton parked the bus and still got beat by a few goals they would be slaughtered, played their usual brand of football and were beat by the best team in the world no big deal. Has everyone forgot about Chelsea performance the other night, they have 2 cm that cost as much as the whole starting 11 for Brighton and they could get the ball passed the halfway line

what i dont get with Brighton is, is all these players are missing why on earth did they try playing out from the back vs city, which was the dumbest thing you can do in football since this is what city live for, they high press with 6-7 players and just leave 1 CB back 1v1 you need to play long and into the channels vs city and bypass their midfield to even have a chance.
Because that’s the way he coaches his team to play. He doesn’t coach his best 11 one way and the rest a completely different way because the players aren’t quite as good
They're where they should be though...mid-table. Just because they had a couple of good seasons doesn't mean anything. So did Burnley a few years ago but look at them now.

That's ignorant! You are playing a team that needs to win every game. If you tie or beat them, you ruin their season. And you decide to play around with the ball in your 18 box. That's not a coach I will want at my club.

Who cares if an English manager has won the 'premier league' or not though? The premier league is just the top division in English football, and therefore has been won by plenty of English managers.
