  • May be if Yokosuka MXY-7 would be improved with at the level of a manned Fieseler Fi 103, the thing going to be very different for U.S.Navy. This weapon could be launched from about 250 km of the american fleet, at high altitude, gliding to about 500 meters of the sea, and using their pulse reactors only to fly terminal approach. The Bettys then will survive to launch more other day, the surprise of the long distance undetected motherships attack would be a chance for success. The number of hits will be more than with original ones, due to their lower speed and easier manage instead a rocket. This weapon was a desperate try that in fact could not change the course of the war anyway.
