Tesla's are ok for daily driving but they have no soul it's ok for commuting but it's not as fun as a car with an internal combustion engine which you have endless options of modifying. We love the sound of turbos, superchargers, blow-off valves, exhaust, the feel of the engine revving, the feel of making the car work on a track, the feel of the turbo lag, supercharger torque, nitrous kick and much more but you get the idea.

Although I’m no fan of the Tesla or this video I’ll say that pretty soon teslas will be charging nearly as quick as filling a full tank. My old man ended up buying a Tesla long range suv and we drove Austin to Houston without having to recharge. Once we reached the outskirts of Houston we charged to drive around in the city and it was a total of 20 minutes charging and it was substantial enough to get us around in city traffic for an hour. I was very surprised at how fast the percentage creeps up at a Tesla supercharger station

@utcougar Sadly that day probably won't be in our lifetimes just due to standard limitations for now. It will be traditional gas until supplies run low and the replacement costs to much. That and as it stands as well, electric cars are dangerous in accidents. The weight of the battery turns it into am explosive battering ram. I do like the idea of progress, don't get me wrong. But until that day is a reality, I'm going to prefer my quicker V8 engine and rumbly exhaust mustang.

Yeah, I don't care how fast the Tesla is, when you aren't in a situation where you can repeatedly accelerate, I'd rather be driving a car I can shift and enjoy. A slow as hell economy car with a 5 speed is actually an absolute blast to drive when you must drive responsibly and can't fly around everywhere. And thinking something like "autopilot" is cool? No way, that's lamer than an automatic transmission.

Tesla's are ok for daily driving but they have no soul it's ok for commuting but it's not as fun as a car with an internal combustion engine which you have endless options of modifying. We love the sound of turbos, superchargers, blow-off valves, exhaust, the feel of the engine revving, the feel of making the car work on a track, the feel of the turbo lag, supercharger torque, nitrous kick and much more but you get the idea.

@Unodeescada Yeah, heres the thing though. I don't need to nap with the time it takes to fill up. And I have successfully pushed 300 on a tank. Standard range for those models. To make you get up and move around, not limitations to a charge.
Although I’m no fan of the Tesla or this video I’ll say that pretty soon teslas will be charging nearly as quick as filling a full tank. My old man ended up buying a Tesla long range suv and we drove Austin to Houston without having to recharge. Once we reached the outskirts of Houston we charged to drive around in the city and it was a total of 20 minutes charging and it was substantial enough to get us around in city traffic for an hour. I was very surprised at how fast the percentage creeps up at a Tesla supercharger station
@utcougar Sadly that day probably won't be in our lifetimes just due to standard limitations for now. It will be traditional gas until supplies run low and the replacement costs to much. That and as it stands as well, electric cars are dangerous in accidents. The weight of the battery turns it into am explosive battering ram. I do like the idea of progress, don't get me wrong. But until that day is a reality, I'm going to prefer my quicker V8 engine and rumbly exhaust mustang.

Takes like 20-40 mins to charge not 3 hrs lol
