OK BET, when are you going to do a full-blown SADE tribute at one of these award shows?! IT. IS. LONG. OVERDUE.
THE B.E.T. AWARDS SHOW WAS A HOT MESS. I WOULD NOT LET MY CHILD WACH IT. SO THIS IS ALL ARE SO CALLED BLACK INTERTAINERS GOT TO OFER OUR KIDS? AND KNOW ONE ON T.V BLACK SHOWS WILL NOT DENUNCE IT? THAT TELLS ME THAT THEY LOVE THIS NASTY BEHAVIOR, ITS KNOW BIG DEAL. OR THEY HAVE BILLS TO PAY, SO WILL NOT SAY ANYTHING TO LOOK BAD. OR HAVE THERE T.V. SHOW CONSULED.
This is bullshit it’s saying on Hulu I have to buy it for 60 bucks to watch it. I missed it all this week how can I watch it. Help!!!!!!!!
Such good memories...🥰
I'm sooo glad Queen Latifah got her flowers Much deserved!
About time yess

Idk why I got so emotional over this, but Queen Latifa came with nothing but positive and uplifting vibes back in the day. She is one of the greatest female MCs to ever grip a mic.
Me too!!
Yep. I remember back in 1993 I never heard of anybody other than MC Lyte around the same time give a year take a year or two but the first song I heard was you and i t y That's a Unity by Queen Latifah back in the early 90s. Queen Latifah was definitely the first to do it and get a lot of attention from a lot of people all across the world.
Anybody else crying at Lil Kim and MC Lyte doing UNITY? What a tribute. Rapsody and Monie killed that toooooo!
I had goosebumps ... love from SA🇿🇦

I just love Kim PERIOD....
PERIOD....
Did you see how lil Kim gave props to Queen Latifah? Sincerely thanking her for paving the way for her and many others. That's the definition of a Bad B. No one does that anymore and it really doesn't take that much to show some love and appreciation to the legends that dug their way through first, just so that they can have an even better access to this thing called success in a male dominated industry.
Thank you. I think the last time I saw this kind of love (unified) was back when Mariah and Brandy and them were showing it to the likes of Aretha and Diana Ross. Sad that Janet, Celine, Mariah, Brandy, Eve didn't get the recognition they deserve on a large scale. Or have yet to.
You praise the song Unity… yet you speak Bad B’s…….. that don’t compute..
💯

You could’ve just spoke on music not that.
@@myfddream yes she could’ve but at the same time why does one have to lie. She’s not putting down her talent when it has to do with music, what she saying is that that young woman hates herself. And perhaps someone else will share that even more and she would look deeper inside and see that all the things that she has done to herself isn’t necessary that she was beautiful all along just as God made her
igl, her face is hard to take in tho. I just see pain. Its ok to state the obvious cuz we're all thinking it. Its sad.
