    • @Spicy Boy It would make it harder to put on a shelf, but, I can sense a lot of eeriness with more water around the creature. This creation makes my skin crawl. A wonderful diorama even with the diameter chosen. That water is almost the coolest thing about the scene. I love it.

  • Friendly suggestion, it might have been a better idea to do a rectangular section of water, the cylindrical piece bends the light in a kinda weird, way, distorting the chonky tooth boi.

    • The resin does bend light as it passes through, regardless of shape, but a rectangular section would bend the light uniformly across a surface. The cylinder leads to the bending not being uniform, causing greater net distortion.

  • This is absolutely stunning, a piece of art! Love how you changed the color of the water on the bottom to look deeper. In the future it'll be cool to see this work on a bigger container so we can take a good look on the entire megalodon body. Love your work!

    • Most of it is resin actually! Bit more expensive, but hot glue wouldn't dry that clear! It's also REALLY finicky about exact measurements of part A and B and mixing + bubbles

  • Looks so real! Everything is positioned perfectly, the surfer is on the down hill run of the wave right above the shark's mouth and the shark is the perfect size.

    • Well, the bottom of the shark is open... so what if you put a light under and inside the shark? It also might be interesting to put it on a display with a light under the whole resin cylinder. Imagine how it would look with light shining below the blue resin.

  • I thought about this. What if the walls for the cylinder were the walls of an underwater sand dune? Now that would be cool if you'd think about it. At night, sharks get stuck in those while attempting to hunt as the tide goes down. Even big sharks could get stuck in them, small sharks, etc. (Including Other Predators) . *_God, thank you science teacher.._* Edit: Oof, thanks for three likes. :D
