      @hansel_aurelius@hansel_aurelius2 жыл бұрын
    • Absolutely. He's messing up everybody's money with these antics, so you can see why they're annoyed. He's been selfish since Philly wanted him to learn to shoot. That's why he left, he didn't want to work on his shot, as a max contract player. $100m+ over 4 years and you don't want to work at your job, but still get paid? Owners are going to decimate the collective bargaining agreement which guaranteed contract money based off Ben's behavior alone. And it'll hit the 2-way players who'd do anything for the chance the most. Rich Paul and Ben have overstepped, now everyone will have to pay.

    • You're 100% correct, and it'll be the very first issue the owners discuss at their next meeting. Kyrie has damaged the NBA, but BS literally obliterated it, and the true damage will be seen down the road. I honestly hope he matures and improves as a person. My pitchfork is out and as a Philly fan I want blood, but the human side of me, not the sports fan, wishes dude can deal with his mental health ... Not buying the back thing, and he should play no matter what his mental health is. None of us get to take a year off cause we have anxiety, do I don't have sympathy for him. But his mental health issue is that his mind is so fragile and he's unbelievably immature. That's usually a problem with parenting, and I hope the lights eventually turn on. I'll never not want a young man to make as much money as they can and be happy.

It was a similar performance in the playoffs before his "injury" that caused a disturbance in the Philly locker room, leading to the poor trade for one player that with everyone they gave up could've solidified a ring for the Sixers. He gave up after 5 shots cause he was obviously embarrassed, then grabbed and started stretching his shoulder like that was the reason he almost broke the backboard throwing up all them bricks. He's a head case, doesn't have anyone in his inner circle talking sense, and clearly the result of bad parenting. Not that any of that absolves him of guilt. Ultimately he's a grown man and he's responsible for himself, but I do think those are some reasons why he's so immature, selfish and lacks self awareness so much.

  • When are these guys gonna issue an apology to Philly fans? After the trade, all we heard was how Philly fans were just too hard on Simmons and now he's gonna be ok. Philly fans gave him every chance to succeed. We wanted him to succeed. We gave him standing ovations for TAKING A THREE!!! Literally, the fans supported him a ton and would have even after the Atlanta series if he would've come out and said that he's gonna improve and actually put in the work. Now everyone else is seeing why Philly fans turned on him. Still waiting for the apology though

This dude Lebron has RIDICULOUS miles on his legs. Missing the playoffs with an injured AD was actually smart. Historically, After an offseason of rest, LeBron comes back in demigod mode. We're probably going to see his last hoorah and final wind in the next two years and it'll be because he was able to take a break this yea,. Dont be surprised if he wins another ring and a lot of it will have to do with these 5 months off.

The number story of modern basketball is a team (Lakers) who did NOT make the playoffs nor play-in game and a player (Ben Simmons) who didn't play one minute of the season... No way these stories are headline news back in the 80's and 90's, and definitely not for the whole season
