Ok :)
Minulla on jo SurfShark (I learnt Finnish for a bit now)
Thanks pongfinity for the 3 month free. Would not have originally signed up for surfshark😅
A nice idea: A table tennis table in a super weird shape, for example a hexagonal table
Here are some ideas for the next video: 1. Paint your rackets and balls with vantablack. Search for it in the internet, this looks so amazing! 2. Play a rally about the blue curtain. 3. Play a rally of tabletennis on the nintendo switch or make a competition (also with the switch) with other players in your trainingshall. I would like to see Jokke! This would be so nice! Love u guys!❤
Emil casually asking the audience to violate the laws of physics 😂 You can't levitate the ball with permanent magnets, it will always be unstable! Look up Earnshaw's Theorem!
What if you made a small circle or triangle of the round magnets on the racquet, and placed the ball in the middle of those? Just with the magnetic paint covering the ball
Should be possible if you cool it down to below critical levels and turn it into a superconductor.
Just rotating one of the magnets. Look it up on KZhead
Gluing magnets on the surface of the ball oriented the same way?
It’s easy, all you have to do is discover magnetic monopoles
If we get the ball to levitate with magnets at rooms temprature, not only would that be a cool video, but we would get multiple noble prizes and cement our names in history.
That's the goal 😂
Pongfinity could try it by repulsion. Just figure out thesimilar poles and face them to each other.
@@NaderEzzat-jl4el It's possible to levitate magnets with a superconductor (cooled close to absolute zero). "Facing similar poles to each other" doesn't work, because magnet in the ball (or the magnet and the ball) would simply rotate to put N-S poles together. You can make a sort of magnetic spring if you confine both magnets (e.g., putting donut-shaped magnets on a rod), but it won't work if either magnet is free to move and rotate, as would be the case in ping pong.
@@NaderEzzat-jl4el The ball doesn't have enough mass for that, it will simply flip over.
@@Pongfinity Easiest (and possibly only) way to do that would be to use two rackets. Put the magnets on both and hold them apart with opposite poles facing each others. The ball should be attrackted by both rackets, hovering between them.
3:22 he just casually catches ping pong ball on his head
😂😂😂
There honestly aren't many youtube channels (in yt-history) that deliver this much consistently great content for so many years and video's. Great job again, keep it up!
Much appreciated! 🙌
Levitating ball? Put a piece of superconducting ceramic cooled with liquid N2 on the racket, then put a magnet in your ball and you may be able to get it to float. Be sure to wear cryogloves so you don't freeze your hand!
Yeah, that's a good idea. I think, the better way is to do it vice versa: put the magnets on the racket and put the superconducting ceramic into the ball and then cool the ball in the liquid nitrogen. You also may need stronger magnets (neodymium magnets) to make levitation effect stronger. Maybe you should find and contact some material scientists, who work in the field of superconductivity, they could help you to choose the proper superconducting ceramic and to carry out the experiment correctly.
This only works if you cool the superconducter with a magnet near it otherwise you wont get the desired floating effect
We need more Otto playing tennis 💪
You should try and play ping pong games and see how different or similar they are Like wii ping pong
Please do this Pongfinity
Please do this Pongfinity
Otto's like a frickin Viking with all that hair
You can levitate the ball by replacing it with tungsten then cooling the magnets with liquid nitrogen till they reach temp of liquid nitrogen and then putting the ball over the magnets
Love your videos, guys! 🔥 Keep up the great work!
Benedek is cool, man. Blends right in with you guys
What about pentti?
@@James-ww3ri He owns, too
thats not Benedek Olah😅
@@VipRo1 wdym
@@VipRo1 ?
Do you reckon you guys could host a tournament with different handicaps each time. Like the first one you’d play normally, then second one maybe an eyepatch over one eye and then idk play still with the eyepatch but with a smaller racquet and then use a table with holes or something until you whittle it down to a winner?
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A NEW VID FOR SO LONG YAY
Love the lily pad racket court! Imagine it in a waist high pool (slightly more shallow than the following clip)!?!?!
Keep up the great vids 🔥🔥🔥Youre my favourite ping pong youtube channel
Another quality PongFinity video
oh yeah I just came home from my ping pong training and I need this video❤
Great video pongfinity!
6:25 the laught I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣
👅leahehheheah
Some great ways to play table tennis. Great video pongfinity
love your table tennis channel
Love this last Challenge playing TT on Swimming pool. It's very unique Challenge . and last but not the list pongfinity is our inspiration ❤
Thanks for making the idea a reality!
"I accept this humble glory" is my new phrase when I win anything 😂
Great content as ALWAYS! And the best table tennis creators Cook again!
Try attach the the racket to a hair dryer - maybe drill small holes in the racket: big enough so the air comes through, but small enough that the ball can still be hit properly. Maybe you get it to float like that as well
the next time your traveling play in the plane
I love your consistency and quality of video!!
make the ball levitate by magnetic field of attraction . 2 same poles repel so keep north up and south down
Respect you guys for swimming during winter
you should try pingpong in a zero gravity Airplane !😁
I have never seen such an aggressive sponsor integration before
playing with a 3d printed ball could be cool
Best table tennis player ever seen otto ❤❤❤❤ I am your biggest fan and you are my motivation for table tennis ❤
These guys are just amazing !!!!!❤
To make it levitate you need supraconductor (YBCO is the easiest to use) magnet and something like liquide nitrogen
Came across your channel 2 weeks ago, and I subscribed instantly.
I want to see more one point rallies. They're hilarious!
Bout to go to a table tennis lesson now 😊
PONGFINITY is getting better and better..❤ Challenge:- Play while hanging on a pull up bar on anywhere else.. And a match of OTTO AND BENEDEK!🎉😅
Guys regarding the issue of broken balls which are you know like dented or so, not the ones which have cracks or scratches, you could try repairing them by dipping them inside hot freshly boiled water for sometime. It's really cool how it gets restored
to hover the ball firstly carefully stuck magnet as same direction where the magnet in ball..in simple south with south and north with north
Always the best ❤❤❤❤
I don't normally comment but love how great and fun this video was plase do more like this 🙂❤️
Thank you, we will! 🙂
Pickleball edition? it’s pretty much tennis + ping pong. blowing up in american right now
Ball catch with magnets. 😂 Nice!
Love from germany! Love ur Videos
i think u can do is glue the magnetss to the racket and cover the sides of the racket with anything so that ball cant get out
Usually you can't make a ball hover with permanent magnet, but if you get a almost perfect sphere of magnets you can put it in the middle and it will hover if you take in the fact of gravity and account for it.
Dude, that pool is so beautiful 😭
How do pongfinity only have 4.43 million subs. They deserve 10 mil tbh
In terms of the magnets, I would get hexagonal magnets to make a grid so it’s more consistent, then I would get a metal hollow sphere that’s ping pong ball size and coat it in rubber to make the ball, this should work for what you want to do, but also make sure you get strong magnets
We need an emil long pips racket on the store!!!
Ottos never being cold with that furr 😄👍🏻
If you really want to try the part where the ball levitates on the magnets you should try some magnets that have 2 different poles on each side, and put one magnet like that inside the ball, so it will either stick to it or be pushed with an incredible force.
Finally a new vid!
To make the ball float you need a super conductor( which is just a really cold magnet). I recommend watching a video on super conductors to learn more.
You might be able to charge up the racket as well as the ball with static electricity and the same sign of the charge.
I’m part Finnish, and I like this channel
That 2 transitions in the publicity was perfects
Here's an idea for the levitating ball: 1. Find out from which side of the magnet the magnetic ball gets repelled 2. Stick the magnets on the racket with the repelling side facing outwards
we need more swimsuit otto
add magnets with both negative erergy. Put 1 magnet inside ball that has negative force, and 1 magnet on racket that also has negative force so that it can repel and levitate
Hi pongfinity I am a table tennis player from india and I like your videos to watch and I am watching your videos since 5 years and I am your subscriber❤
Mikka was basically using the board as a life board XD
Challenge for you guys. A racket that has two handles. So you can 2v2 with one racket per team.
you need to use a super conductor to make it hover but it would be quite heavy, but i would give it a try 🤣🤣🤣 love your guys work thks!
If your budget goes high enough, diamagnets can make magnets float. Diamagnets are sort of the opposite of typical magnets you are familiar with (paramagets and ferromagnets) and they repel instead of attract when exposed to a magnetic field. Back when I was in high school I made a little magnet weakly float above a bismuth yttrium oxide (Bi3YO6) disc submerged in liquid nitrogen, although I was primarily interested in it for its superconductive properties.
The only way to get the ball to hover with this is by using two rackets. facing each others. One with the plus side facing down and one with the minus side facing up. Then let the ball with a magnet inside hover between them. Maglev trains work by having two magnets facing the same polarity towards each others (electromagnets, so they can be switched off), pushing the train up. This won't work with the ball, because it simpy doesn't have enough mass pushing against the magnet, it will simply flip over, so that the opposite polarity will face the racket's polarity.
I'd love to see the reverse hole game as an actual competition. So if you miss the "table" you get to place another bit of table on your opponents side
To make the ball float over the racket: 1) Fix a magnet with north pole on top in the ball. 2) Take another magnet and keeping its north pole at top, fix it on the racket. 3) Take the size and weight of the magnet accordingly. I hope this works. This is actually the only way to make magnets float.
It would be very hard but you could maybe somehow make the racket into a superconductor and the ball magnetic like in the video for it to float. The superconductor will require the racket to be very cold too, but the handle could be normal.
I’m Japanese and watch your videos many times. And I found your videos are almost reach to 1 Billion views! I really got surprised! I’m really looking forward to your celebration video of 1 Billion views! (Sorry for my poor English) (なぜこんなに日本人の視聴者が 少ないのでしょうか。 もっとPongfinityの動画は 日本人に評価されるべきだと 思います!これからも 頑張って下さい!応援しています!)
For alivating the ball u need to fix atlest 6 magnet in ball facing same magnetic poll out side than mke recat with opposite poll.
Challenge: play with 3 players on each side with 2 tables joined.. Love your vids❤❤
I like how Benedek Olah is just casually making appearances now
might be possible to get it to hover if you stuck some strong magnets to the racket with glue and sick some onto the ball on the outside edges that are the same charge, to get it to repulse
for the levitating ball u can get an electromagnet to put inside of the racket and a real one in the ball but the racket must be wired for it to work
challenge idea : play on different table shapes
Try using some form of copper paint or just a copper piece in the balls, copper and magnets have a weird reaction. NightHawkInLight said: What’s happening here has nothing to do with opposing magnetic forces. Copper itself is not magnetic. However, as a magnet approaches copper (and some other metals), the magnetic field causes electrons on the surface of the copper to rearrange themselves and begin rotating. They swirl in a circular pattern perpendicular to the magnetic field, creating resistance.
You can put a positive magnet on the racket and a negative magnet in the ball
So happy you're still filming together after all these years!
To make the ball levitate, you have to got a magnet inside that is the same polarity as the magnets on the racket (same, they reject each other, opposite, they attract each other)
Oh and it would always be impresice
Make an enormous paddel and play on an enormous table please ❤
For the ball to stay in the air you need the magnit in the ball to bee nigitive and the magnet on the racket to also be nigitive.(same with positive)😊😊😊
I always fin(wink) myself waiting for the next video
Another Battleship would be so fun
Oh... I read something that might be interesting... how about trying to get everything 3d printed? From the table, to the rackets, to the ball? With the new technology it's possible
Superconductors. Cool the magnet with dry ice
You should take both the table with the holes and the hole outcuts and put them back together as a new Table where the outcuts are like a couple centimeters lower
u can keep the magnets in opposite way (north pole of magnet in the racquet towards north pole of magnet in ping pong)so that it hovers............
there's the brutal solution "magnet in liquid nitrogen" to make a magnet levitate ;) as always awesome content by awesome dudes, let's go rush 5M !
Cool video pongfinity
Try using the cutouts but place them at different heights. Love the videos, keep it up
how about different hights and angles!
I´m waiting the Pongfinity vs Table Tennis Daily the best youtubers
You could in theory make the ball float by a set of magnets on the other side to counteract the force of the magnet. So it would like a floating Earth model
Pongfinity vs TableTennisDaily is coming guys!!!
You will need to use the “Concept of quantum locking” in order to get the ball hover over magnets :)
Another pong finity video, yaaaayy!! Challenge: try playing ping pong with hellium ball
Nice idea
Bro, this is a good idea, but i don't know if it gonna work
