Really enjoying your videos and now I’m all set for ceramic coating the new GT4 arriving soon! I wanted to ask if you recommend a particular polish - I’m also using the Rupes (yellow pad then white) but find the Rupes polishes provided a bit hard to remove. Ideally I’d be looking to do a 1 stage polish or a quick pass with the yellow pad and take a bit more time with the white pad. Any advice (or video!) appreciated!
On a gt4 I'd typically use a lake country hdo orange with carpro reflect. If bad defects need removal use hdo blue and carpro ultra cut. all sold on statusdetailstore.com

Great video. Was this a full PPF? I have a new 992 Turbo S in A1 black. Have nano ceramic graphene coating and 3M ppf on rear 1/4 panels, but considering adding PPF to front or possibly entire car. Planning on keeping a while. Thoughts? Keep up the great work!
This was a full front ppf job. Mirrors. Hood. Fenders. Bumper. If you are keeping it a long time and drives lot of highway or track then ppf is a pretty good bet. It's kind of like buying a lottery ticket. You may or may not find value in PPF depending on how you use the car. If your buying a car that expensive then you probably won't regret ppf or spending the money on a full front. So it's probably worth it no matter what unless you drive like 100 miles a year. Then don't do it. I highly recommend Stek ppf.
@@STATUSDETAIL thanks for the info. Curious on 992 are you guys dropping front bumper and pulling lights to get seamless install? Do you have relief seams on lower front bumper section? My guy who did my rear quarter ppf and ceramic indicated that he will, but others won’t and use the pre cut template kits.
@@smith_grind5269 great question. The only way to wrap that fender with no seams is to pull the headlights out. We did not do that. We have a seam on the fender but it's in a spot that's damn hard to see. If you pull headlights I'd charge more. That makes pulling it more if you want to replace and another expensive install after removal Ppf is value based to me. If it's to expensive to complicated or two much aggravation to replace a panel if and when it gets to much damage then you go down the rabbit hole of is it worth it and will you just never replace it. Hope that all makes sense. At a cars and coffee no one is going to say. Boy look at thst Seam. Unless they are 6 inches away from it on there knee's lol.
