Not much you can call that other than a choke. When she was up two breaks in the third, I thought she was going to get broken at least once so it was a great insurance policy but then she got broken 3 times in a row. Complete meltdown when she had Iga completely finished.
Champions doing what champions do...finding a way to win. Yeah, Collins didn't step up at the right times, but she was outplayed when it mattered.
She choked ! Iga came up with some shots in clutch , some. Collins had Iga on the ropes during second set and third set . 0-40 match points and she double faults the game ! Iga survived that . That was tears of relief . Iga’s mentally stronger. So her traveling therapist is earning her keep .

It would be nice if the extended highlights didn't show double faults by Collins but rather actual points won by either of the 2 players. It's a waste of space and suggests that somehow Iga won the match thanks to Danielle's DFs, which is not the case since Iga has broken Danielle to zero.

Read about the racquet change for Iga, don't know if it's just the highlights but she seems lacking in confidence with her forehand. Also she has a glaringly weak front court game that never seems to improv, great escape here.
Iga always has problems with her forehand when playing against opponents who play fast and flat due to her extreme grip.
