I actually watched the original Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs last night. What the hell was she talking about the prince “literally stalking” her?? Zegler was absolutely just plain LYING in order to demonize the original. She’s sick.

I think the biggest issue with Zegler is that she wasn't removed from the project immediately after her stupid comments from the start. That's a huge red flag akin to someone pushing it right into your eye sockets and yelling "THIS IS A RED FLAG, IT'S A FLAG AND IT'S RED". I'm all for representation since there is literally zero issue with that, but when you've got someone "championing" the concept, it just puts a bad image on those who seek representation. I never thought I'd see the day that Disney was imploding. Is it too late to go to a better timeline? I don't want to live in this timeline.

WOW!!! -- Imagine saying "I'm the hottest person in the world..." HOLY FU... -- Talk about asking the mirror on the wall... who is the villain again?
Christ, that person would be on a constant panic attack/anxiety by the thoughts of working a normal job once Hollyweird ditches her. And then they wonder why everyone is cheering at that place burning.
Hollywood is out of ideas because anything new requires thinking outside of the Woke narrative, so they just have all the endless reboots and remakes that are all worse than the originals by orders of magnitude. Disney never needed to make any of their animated classics into live action. Nobody was asking for it, and all of them are worse in every way that made the originals great. It says something when the best movies of the past few years can be counted on a single hand. Top Gun Mavrick and The Super Mario Movie went against the grain, and are so much better for it.
If Zegler actually cared about anyone but herself then she would give away most of her money to the strikers to help them out! Think about it, but she will never because we all know why.

Damn, Zegler reminds me of an intern I had in my architecture studio few years back. 3rd year of college and she was already "The Next Zaha Hadid". She managed to piss off all 11 people I work with within a single week. She spent most of her time in the office scrolling on her phone, failing to deliver a single assignment she was given. But boy, did she always had a witty remark about our work, what is best etc. Needless to say, I booted her out after 3 weeks. Don't know if she managed to complete her internship, but I honestly doubt that. Learning of work was beneath her.

Also, back in the middle ages, dwarves and persons of stature were considered magical, in their own right, allowing imagination to run wild with stories of elves and giants. As far as I'm concerned none of these writers even deserve to be getting paid for what they write. The stories are unimaginative, predictable. They can't write an ensemble cast, can't write anything without source material. Shows like the new Justified are only connected by the name. Raylan isn't near the well written character he was in the original. Maybe they can strike so long we can just wait for the next generation.

Netflix got big because even high schoolers could afford their own accounts (I created my account in 2010) and I deactivated it this year because the price is ridiculous for an adult with a job. Disney is going to destroy itself if it jacks these prices up. They already don't have enough subscribers, this is going to gut them.

Let's start off with this, when I lost my job as an electrician due to lack of work I 1) had to look for other work 2) didn't get paid for work I had done prior even if that boat has a smooth running fish processing plant that I was a key factor to it running so smoothly, so 7:05 I can kind of understand getting a little bit of the profits(not every hour it is streamed while it is still trying to become profitable) if something is doing well years down the line but if I haven't worked for many many years I feel like I would probably need to find a new path or push harder to find a job in my industry.
Imagine being Disney, seeing how you fall from grace while others like Dreamworks, Illumination, & Sony Animation get not a piece of the cake but the whole thing for giving audiences what they want, & u still stick to woke stuff. At least Netflix make a profit when they make content with LGBT+ character like Heartstopper & Arcane. Yeah, they also made Elite, Money Heist & Emily in Paris, but they manage to make people go & see them a good chunk of the time, with exceptions like The Witcher.

I know ESG investment is money, but I'd expect buisness people to have understood that it wasn't FREE money. I get buying into it in the beginning, they didn't necessarily know they'd be damaging the brand. The need for course correction, however, should have obvious to them from some of the earliest days. I don't feel any pity for them. If we need a few corpos to be permanently ruined for the rest to wake up to go back to making products that people purchase, I'm cool with that.
It would be one thing with ESPN if that price covered every game live feed from at least 3 different big league sports (NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, NASCAR etc). The problem is each of those leagues have telecast deals with other networks so ESPN wouldn’t be able to do that. So what real value could ESPN give to justify that price tag?
You would think Hollywood executives and agents would give marketing training to their new “stars”

Marc Webb isn't blameless in all of this. He was the one that casted her. Or he at least hired whoever did. That whole system is weird to me. He at least knew she didn't fit the role and should have researched the kind of person she is before filming began.
