  • Can all of you just stop on Novak falling apart? This is a guy, a month short of 37, still beating a 25 yr old today and a 22 yr old yesterday. Ya he may not win, but how about kudos for continuing to play MUCH younger players and being able to keep up and WIN. Hardly a fair comparison of him vs Sinner. Even playing your greatest players (Fed and Nadal) that was more fair as there was only a 5 yr difference between him and Roger and same age as Nadal). Give the guy a break.

  • Finally! Some actual real success on these courts since long long time! (ever since 2015 if you are keeping track!), he hasn't reached the semis here in 8 last attempts he played here people, and reached only 2 quarter-finals too of those 8 (this year marks his only 3rd in 9 freaking years!)! So anything more than quarter-finals in MC i consider a huge success already, sure i want title, which Djokovic fan doesn't now that he reached this far? But even if he doesn't there are much more important tournaments to peak at to do some winning, like RG, Wimbledon and Olympics (also played on RG courts!)...those three are the most important titles, that Novak needs to win this year, everything else is a bonus and would be nice to have, including title in MC, but not the main dish!

  • Even though it was one of the most redoubtable clashes for Djokovic, I had estimated that he was going to conquer his arduous opponent in this showdown. De minaur has compelled the boundaries and borders on the court. Particularly, I realized that the clay court performance and efficiency of Alex De Minaur had evolved in accordance with the previous seasons. He definitely demonstrates a more resilient and valiant performance than the projections. A vast expansion is plainly observed by analists and specialists.

  • Djokovic clearly had breathing problems as time went on. The weather was perfect for tennis, 70° sunny with no humidity. He powered through to win, but it makes you wonder if there's something going on (also, yesterday with his visibly shaking hands during the break).
