iPhone 15 Teardown - Why is nobody talking about this?!

The iPhone 15 battery has some new chemistry... Visit kiwico.com/jerryrig for 50% off your first month of KiwiCo with code JERRYRIG I'm a huge fan of recycled materials. And being able to reuse the cobalt for ALL of the new iPhone 15 lineup is incredibly awesome. Nice work apple. I would love to see other companies use as many recycled materials as Apple does on their new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 pro smartphones.

    • The EU has mandated user-removable batteries in all cellphones no later than year 2027. In three years time, there will be no need anymore for glue solvent, pull tabs and all other tricks&traps to replace a weak battery. When, in 2007, Steve Jobs glued - for the first time ever - a battery inside his new magic phone, nobody would have thought that would have been necessary for the federated Government of the 27 European countries to intervene - in order to reverse such blatant abuse of the customers...
