Just so everyone is aware, blue cheese has mold in it. But it's penicillium, an edible mold created during the cheese making process that does not release any toxins, unlike most molds.

I didn't know English speaking people call it Blue Cheese, in German we just call it Mold Cheese (Schimmelkäse) 😂

- @Caro Land in America its all about marketing. The average American consumer has ZERO idea where their food comes from or how it is made. Marketing the cheese as "mold cheese" would be a terrible flop and no one here would buy it.

The timing of this song. 🤣 I ordered a wedge salad for lunch today that normally comes with blue cheese dressing (it has mold in it) and as always, asked for ranch. I am originally from the midwest, where we put a boat load of ranch on literally everything. Well, they gave me the stuff with the mold in it instead. 😭
