Neither less are the fermented animal products like cheese or joghurt a littel less harmful. So what's Dr. Lee's opinion about the hormones we consume by the milk products?

He advocates to avoid dairy because it causes inflammation in the body. Most people I have watched or talked to on the oncology side, say to avoid dairy, due to the hormones.

Just the old style. I stopped this diet i had learned because of all the hypes but will return to it. Brown Bread for breakfast..with eggs and bacon. Bread for lunch. Cheese and meat to cover the slices. Lots of fruits...very little veggies. Meat at every meal every day. Fish sometimes. If fish it's mostly raw fish like Salmon or Haring and also a lot of Mackerel. A lot of fat food...but never plant oils (only olive and coconut oils for me..mum used lard and animal fats as oil and butter.) Ghee as butter....French fries twice a week with chicken or other meat based snacks baked in animal fat...For the rest rarely any other fastfood bought outside. Potatoes with gravy at every dinner..if not so then we eat pasta....and always a soup..chicken or vegetables.....no crisps, no cookies really.. A lot of chocolat though...No smoking no alcohol. Little tea...a lot of coffee. No soda at all...Gl to all.

Stop being lazy, do your own research to see what your body NEEDS+PREFERS! What they putting out there are just general guidelines for upkeeping your body, but if you have a specific PROBLEM, you need to WORK WITH a specialist to identify and fix it! Human body is a complicated system with THOUSANDs of PARTs & MILLIONs of CELLs & FEW REPLACEABLE PARTs, it ain't like your car, or a spaceship, which have ZERO CELLs & MANY REPLACEABLE PARTs!

  • Hi! Dr. Li I'm 68 yrs old from the Philippines. I am following you on youtube recently because your topics are all very interesting and beneficial especially in this generation who loves to eat easy to prepare food. I really love the fruits, vegetables and nuts that you've been mentioning in your topics but the problem is those items are not grown in the philippines since we are in a tropical country. I will be happy if you can discuss what type of fruits, vegetables , nuts and berries we can eat other than what you usually mention in your topics. I'll be grateful to hear from you.

  • Smoothing destroys te fiber in fruits and veggies. Thus, the smoothie might cause a glycemic spike due to fast absorption of the fructose in the fruits. Please eat a motejares portion of the whole fruit. Spinach is also rich in calcium oxalate and should be avoided by people that form calcium oxalate kidney stones. The way to neutralize the sodium oblates in spinach is to eat them together with cheese like in traditional Greece food. Note also that cooking/heating foods rich in vitamin C strongly reduces the vit. C content.

      @Dorota-wi8pd@Dorota-wi8pd26 күн бұрын
    • You still get the fiber because even blended, the fiber is still in the smoothie. Juicing is another story because you are removing all the fiber. As long as you drink the smoothie slow, it’s not going to spike your sugar. But you should have flax and other fats to help slow it down.

      @joelleaittama1416@joelleaittama141626 күн бұрын
    • Smoothies do not destroy fiber because nothing is thrown out, everything is included when it all goes in the blender. Juicing is another story, the pulp gets separated out and that's where the fiber is

      @lucyt4378@lucyt437823 күн бұрын
    • Blending fruits and vegetables into smoothies can alter the fiber structure, potentially leading to quicker sugar absorption, but they still provide valuable nutrients. It's true that spinach contains oxalates, which can be a concern for those with kidney stone issues, but combining it with calcium-rich foods like cheese can help reduce the risk. Cooking can indeed decrease vitamin C levels in foods, so for maximum benefits, consuming some foods raw is beneficial.

And WHICH antioxidants? 🤣 you're trying so hard.., but work on your memory again! 🤣 It's the minerals which antioxidants (specifically polyphenols) are often in conflict with, not amino acids! However, 2-4 hour break between consumptions would solve the problem! Consume ANTIOXIDANTs rich food/coffee/tea.. in the morning, stop at 2pm, then start consuming MINERALs rich food after 5pm.. 👌

Grated, celery root-- last with 1-2 squeezed lemon If I want to go spicy, I grate some horseraddish. Finaly-- mayo, by the eye or, better, keep on tasting. Eat side order or by itself.

  • does off the shelf greek yogurt, like kroger brand have the probiotic properties? friends tell me it does not because of the pasteurization process.

    @patriciavanfossen4162@patriciavanfossen416220 күн бұрын
    • Most off-the-shelf Greek yogurts do contain probiotics. The pasteurization process applies to milk before it's cultured into yogurt, so beneficial bacteria are still present. However, for specific strains and concentrations of probiotics, it's best to check the label for live active cultures.
