Have to say Radzi is great. A breath of fresh air clearly loves the game and this burgeoning relationship with Jimmy is a joy to watch. Also very insightful.
Yes! You're so right... Radzi is great for Snooker and comes across so genuine.
yea if i was on the money he is getting, i would also love the game
He is terrible
@@jb894 Convincing argument. Let me guess; you'e a sad overweight old man, right?
@@Subzero2151 jealousy is a very bad trait
I love Jimmy’s positive outlook. ‘I’ll be playing here next year’. Quality.
More like delusional
@@Paul-sl9zm it’s not really. Unlikely is probably a better adjective. He’s still got a good game and I wouldn’t put it past him to come through one more set of qualifiers. He still knocks centuries in!
He'll be playing in the seniors anyway
You have to admire Jimmy still believing he will play there, that would be absolutely fantastic! Imagine the entrance! Nice insight, guys!
I fucking love Jimmy, my lifelong hero, since the late 80s have been following him all the way, the real people's champion.
Love this. Jimmy White - he’s just so cool. Looks great, sounds great, and so friendly. Pure legend
Jimmy White's 'Whirlwind' Snooker
Feel's like yesterday when I watched Alex Higgins win at The Crucible...God Bless you all.
Big thanks to Jimmy White to tour us viewers backstage. I have been watching world championship snooker for the last 30 years and never knew any of these areas at the Crucible Theatre.
Fantastic to have this tour and see all the behind the scenes. Thank you for your valued time and hard work.
This place seemed much more fun years ago
Jimmy white is starting to look like Ronnie Wood
Hahaha that’s who he reminds me of
Love radz!
Good work lads enjoyed that
Thank you so much for this! Very intruiging and insightful indeed. I was expecting to see a bar so I'm guessing whether there is one for spectators. The dressing rooms seem a little ordinary and was expecting to see a bit more luxury. Perhaps this is a reflection of decorum, which Snooker largely always has been.
The best snooker coverage team. Radzi has taken like a duck to water really makes you feel like you are talking to a pal about he game Jimmy has become a really good analyst as have Ronnie and Alan. But where is Neal? He's excellent
Jimmy White reminds me of Jimmy Page for some reason. They sound and act quite similar in interviews
Radzi's hair is fucking awesome!
Bet Jimmy is well jel
😂 it ain't a patch on Jimmy's syrup
@el mondo But, Jimmy had to pay for his 😄
@@Paul-sl9zm Deffo wants a refund
🍾🍺🍸 Party time 🍻🍾🍸
0:37 LOL, I DON'T THINK SO JIMMY
Radzi with "The Wind" 🙃
Jimmy white 🤍🤍🤍 ✊✊✊
My question has nothing to do with this video. So sorry in advance. But I've been wondering something for awhile now. I'm fairly new to snooker since the sport is basically unknown in the U.S. which is ridiculous. It's become my favorite sport in the short time I've learned about it. And sorry if this is a dumb question but why do players keep potting balls after they have won a frame? The matches are so long I would think they would want to just get on to the next frame. I was wondering if it's because all the balls you pot go towards your ranking points? I have no idea. But thank you in advance. And so glad I've found out about snooker even if it's later in my life. And another thing is since snooker is basically unknown in the U.S. there are barely any pool halls with a snooker table anywhere. The closest one to me is 6 hours away and it's just a ten foot table. I have gone there a few times now and stayed for a couple days each time and played all day. And I just love the game. I don't know why it's not popular here. I think probably the main reason is Americans have little patience. They want a fast game like 8 and 9 ball that take like two minutes to complete a frame. I talked to the pro pool player that owns the pool hall near me and he said he had a snooker table in his pool hall for five years but nobody played. Maybe one or two people per week. So he got rid of it and replaced it with just a pool table. He said people just do not like the game here. I think that is really sad and just ridiculous honestly. I'm so bored with 8, 9, and 10 ball and straight pool and one pocket. I've only played snooker a few times now but I've noticed every time after I'm done my brain is just fried. Just like after you finish like a college exam or something. My brain is just tired because snooker takes a lot of thinking and concentration. But I absolutely love the game and hopefully I'll be able to get a table soon since there are none within several hours of me. Unfortunately I can only fit a ten foot table in my basement but I think that's better than nothing. Thanks again and sorry for writing a frickin book here. Lol.
1. They carry on purely for entertainment, in the sense that the extra pots after the frame is won don't contribute to the match in any way. 2. Potting in snooker is more than winning the frame. It's also about scoring big, making centuries and getting the ultimate scoring achievement: the 147, the highest possible score. 3. Scoring big is display of great skill. It's not easy building a big break. It shows real prowess and mastery of the game. This is why they carry on Benji.
Also the longer your opponent is off the table the better. One of the aims of the game to to not let them settle. If your on the table and stay till all the balls are potted, you opponent does not get any time on the table
To add to the answers, when would a frame actually be considered as won? Because when the opponent need one snooker, then two snookers, he will usually come to the table. Even for four snookers! So you can't stop, and later, when should you stop? It would be so arbitrary to 'choose' a point in which you stop.
Your quite correct it is for raking points 👍
@@deeingalaplike yes, indeed. That's what I meant. My questions were rhetorical, I just felt like saying it that way. 😅 There's no way of deciding or establishing when to stop.
HADIR!
Slightly disappointed by the "Champions Lounge"
"Unfortunately in my day it was uh, cigarettes and..." *don't say cocaine, don't say cocaine, don't say cocaine* "...halves of lager."
Jimmy ! Am I seeing you tomorrow 😮 c..e dealer lol
I got lost just watching this
Spinal Tap vibes for sure
Gave me anxiety. Would not be able to remember my way there. 🥲
The dressing rooms look like a US High School from the 1960s. Or a prison cell in a minimum security prison. Or a really crappy motel room.
Not sure what I expected, but looks a bit grim. As a fan though, no better venue. Been down a good number of years and love matched at the crucible.
Quality!
Look at all the beak chopped out on jimmys dressing room pmsl
Looks like they're competing for who has the worst mop on their head.
Eurosports coverage of Snooker blows the other channels like the BBC out of the water in this video you can see the distinct opposites in styles Eurosports are entertaining and look to make the converge fun the BBC are to up tight and stiff for their own good
Anyone else disappointed with the champions lounge?
Looks like a Morton Bay Bug on Jimmy's head.
Not much of a champions lounge is it. No booze?!
Is Jimmy drunk think he his legend.
jimmy has lost a lot of weight
Jimmy is looking like a caricature these days, he looked better years ago.
Yeah, it's called aging
Radzi looks about 16. 😄
Something called aging 🤣
I wonder why Jimmy has a pen in his hand all the time
Got to say- Radzi is probably the best Snooker presenter around… Sorry Hazel.
Seema Jaswal is the best looking one though.
he knows nowt about snooker
@@Casey-Jones he got the job because he is non white 🤪🤪🤪
@@Casey-Jones and that would be a major problem if he were a commentator, player or analyst. But he’s not
@@MarmadukeWarner yeah, I read in the Daily Mail they offered the job to Idris Elba first but he was unavailable.
No Radzi, you just come back from where the magic happens. You are now in the place where you ask silly questions looking gormless listening to the reply 😂
Tries too hard, sounds stilted, just a hopeful stepping stone for him. Very lucky to have the gig - there's more natural sounding candidates out there.
What’s with the old guy’s “hair”?
Radzi's do is bang on, leave him alone 😂
@@elmondo3543 Is Radzi the old guy?
@@914Rocky No, Radzi's the young one. Jimmy had an unsuccessful hair transplant surgery some time ago and now he wears a toupee.
@@914Rocky do you mean the geezer that's as white as a ghost..looks like he's had a bad bag of 👃up...and wearing a pineapple on his knappa ?
Jimmy got that wrong, the Rocket is long gone.. next stop the Seniors
I like him but he needs to stop his fake “reeeeally!??” and “riiiight!!” when one of the pundits says something.
Ronnie to win? That didn't age well, did it? 😁
Looks like a hospital.
And a line of coke Jimmy come on spill the beans
half a lagers ....who you trying to kid , perhaps if you stayed off drink and drugs you wouldnt have lost in 5 finals
That's uncalled for, not that I think you are completely incorrect but that's just rude and unrespectable.
How many ranking events have you won?lmao
5 would be bad enough but he lost 6.
