    • We have the knowledge to split atoms, create machines that can peer light years into space, make literal miniature black holes, and even attempt to bring back extinct animals through embryonic implantation through it’s closest living ancestor. But still can’t find a cure for something so minute and simple as balding??? Like seriously come on! These greedy bastards probably already know it by now but would lose millions - if not billions if it became known, that’s all it is.

  • Started losing my hair at around 24. Went deep into denial about it, moving my hair to cover up the patchy spots, but by age 27 I couldn't deny it anymore. I cut it short, but it showed bad, I was still too young to be balding. It really affected my self esteem. Never had a solid crisis, but it did suck at first. I eventually started to listen to Joe Rogan talk about balding and worked up the courage to shave my head, hands down the best choice I've made regarding my hair. I look badass and my confidence is way up, though the beard and hitting the gym definitely helps, and luckily my skull has a nice shape to it, I was really worried I'd have a fucked up cranium.

  • I have some information to share with you that is not commonly known. In early 2022, my hair was thick and dense, but by the end of that year, I experienced significant hair loss, resulting in decreased thickness and density. However, I was able to regain control of my hair fall by adopting several positive habits. Firstly, I eliminated junk food from my diet. Secondly, I began exercising for 15 minutes daily to improve blood circulation. Additionally, I started drinking lukewarm water on an empty stomach every morning to aid in detoxification. Finally, I switched to Littleextra's safe and natural cocoonion shampoo and oil, massaging my hair twice a week and washing it after a few hours. As a result, my hair fall has reduced, and I have noticed new hairs growing on my scalp. In conclusion, it is possible to control hair fall by adopting a healthy lifestyle and positive habits.

    • Don't Shave That Hair!!! I have recently made a mistake in my life, and I offer my story to you, that you may learn from my error. It all started, as many things do, with me having trouble shitting. No, I was not constipated; this was not a regularity problem but a matter of technique. It seems my ass-hair had grown to such a length that tiny grogans were constantly getting tied up in the matted jungle between my asscheeks. It led to much frustration, with me KNOWING that I still had something to drop, but unable to shake the tenacious turd loose from its butthair dwelling. Eventually I would have to do two things: either reach down with some paper and try to pinch off the lingering loaf (which required careful precision to avoid smearing the creature all over my rear, especially since I had no way of seeing what I was doing) or just go for broke, start wiping, and hope that I could remove all the leftover fecal matter before the toilet paper reached its Can't-Be-Flushed threshold. I was contemplating this problem, when I had what seemed at the time to be a bright idea. "Hey! This is my butt and my butt-hair, right? So why don't I just eliminate all the hair, and then my grogans will flow out like beer from a keg!" I said to myself. It is a statement that will go down in history with a lot of other regretted statements. "How many Indians could there be?" said by General Custer. "Looks like a good day for a drive!" by JFK. "There! America On-Line now has complete Usenet access!" by some idiot system tech. Such was my anal shaving idea. I performed the operation that night, with a cheap disposable razor and a towel to sit on. Starting from the bottom, and shaving from the crack to the cheeks, I began the arduous process of ridding my ass of hair. Occassionally, I would have to clean the razor of accumulated hair and miscellaneous slime, which I did by wiping it on the towel. Slowly, my twin mounds and the between-ravine began to resemble the hairless cheeks of a newborn baby. Finally, I wiped the razor one last time, and surveyed my work. The towel was covered with a pile of hair. My ass was smooth as ivory. I smiled, satisfied, thinking my troubles were over. Little did I know. I now have a great respect for anal-hair. Like everything in this world God created, it has its mighty purpose in existence. It was only after I had removed it that I started to learn how much I had been taking it for granted. For one, it provides friction. I learned this the next day, when I walked out into the sun heading for class. After climbing two flights of stairs and starting to sweat, I started to notice something unpleasant. The sweat was accumulating in my crack, and was causing the unpleasant sensation of my two asscheeks sliding past each other with every step. I thought about going to the bathroom and wiping it off, but had to get to class. Eventually, I thought, it would dry. Unfortunately, it did dry, but only after mingling with the microscopic shit- molecules lingering around my brown starfish. When I stood up after class, my cheeks were stuck together with a slimy sticky shit/sweat combination. As I made my way back to my dorm, it started to itch. God-DAMN, did it itch! Felt like a swarm of ants was making its way up and down my crack. Fighting to keep from jamming my hand down there and scratching away, I rushed back to the dorm. Unfortunately again, this exertion caused me to sweat, and when I finally reached my room, my cheeks were sliding back and forth against each other like a pair of horny cane-toads. I quickly dropped my pants, and attempted to dry my ass off by sticking it in front of a fan and spreading my cheeks. As I pulled the two mounds of flesh apart, a horrible stench burst free and filled the room. Every dog within a 4 block radius started to howl. I had it worst of all, as the ripe aroma of festering shit/sweat went into the fan and blew back into my face. I fought to keep from heaving. And as I sat there, fighting vomit, my ass cheeks spread and dripping, with the concentrated aroma of my body odor mixed with the tangy smell of my own shit blowing right into my face, I had only one thought: "It will be like this until the hair grows back. Weeks." Later on, trying to deal as best I could, wiping my ass at every opportunity, I discovered another wonderful use for ass-hair - ventilation. I attempted to launch a fart, only to have it get stuck between my asscheeks. Apparently, with no hair, the two pink twins can get vacuum sealed together, and the result was a frustrating fart that slid up and down between my cheeks like a lost gerbil. As if that wasn't enough, I am now enduring further torture. As anyone who has ever shaved anything knows, when hair is first growing in, it comes in as stubble. Imagine your ass having the texture of a brillo pad. Well, that is what I am dealing with now. It is a hellish torture, and there are many times when I just look out the window and contemplate why I shouldn't just jump out and get it all over with in one fleshy splat, rather than endure this constant agony. Friends, DON'T SHAVE YOUR ASS-HAIR!

      @DashLashBoy@DashLashBoy4 жыл бұрын
    • @@DashLashBoy Then I apologize to my other comprehensive comment. Every body issue is just as important as cancer and we can afford to invest a little in other efforts given the recent improvements in treatment. I just have a strong reaction to the behavior of minimizing something we can make progress in just because a more pressing issue is on the table. That mentality spreads like a virus and if we always prioritized more serious issues, society would never have advanced to what it is now. We'd likely still be in medieval times. Sometimes, it's the less serious issues that give great information that can pave the way to other resolving other issues. Often times, this results in an accidental discovery. Not to mention that the sooner it is explored, the sooner we can observe long-term effects. Marijuana is, unfortunately, in the middle-zone because of narrow-minded individuals in the past who chose to follow a propaganda and demonize something that could be good.

    @Shahzad-Khan@Shahzad-Khan5 жыл бұрын
    • I don't know if this can help you. But here's my theory about balding. 1. Testosterone, is a necessary hormone and is essential for muscle growth and strength. 2. Stress, causes you to become tense and tighten certain muscles commonly but not only in the face and head area. 3. Posture, poor posture tightens certain muscles which, with correct posture would not be tightened. Especially with people who live a sedentary life, the muscles at the back of the head will tighten to keep the head facing horizontally. 4. Magnesium supplements, have been shown to decrease the rate of balding and is known to be a muscle relaxant. 5. Peppermint essential oil, has been shown to be more effective at reducing the rate of balding in men compared to Minoxidil a anti-hypertensive vasodilator medication. Peppermint is known to be an effective muscle-relaxant and stress-releiver. 6. DHT, like testosterone is essential in the development of muscles, blocking DHT then causes decreased muscle-growth. 7. Scalp massages has been shown to increase hair-growth, but not reliably. 8. Botox injections to the brow area have been shown to increase hair-growth as an unintentional side-effect. Based on this, my theory is as follows. Chronic activity in muscles at the brow area, scalp and back of the head create a situation similar to a swimming cap which prevent hair from receiving the nutrients it needs. This is caused by, stress, poor posture and poor nutrition. The genetic link then would be your propensity to become stressed. However more importantly, the way you deal with stress and how well you take care of your body which are epigenetic factors, not genetic. Now, consider the fact that the hair-loss industry is worth 4 Billion annually they have no incentive to tell you about this link. In the worst case none of this will work, but you're at least decreasing stress, correcting your posture and eating healthy. Which has benefits across the spectrum.

  • The thing is, some people have the face shape, the skin color and the bone structure to rock the receding hairline or the full bald. And some...do not. For example, I relied on my thick, wavy hair to compensate for my less than average looks. Styled correctly, it gave me a more intellectual flair and represented accurately how I felt inside. Not beautiful, but comfortably average. Now that I am balding, my greatest asset in the looks department has been removed. I'll get over it of course, but I do not look good bald. At all. And to people saying it's all in your head. No, it really isn't. People look at me differently now, and it isn't a favorable difference. You shouldn't lie to people going through a difficult experience. My one consolation is that I am not a balding woman. That truly must be hell and I have great sympathy for any sister in that predicament.

  • My Finasteride/Regaine / hairloss story I took Finasteride for over 13 months and regaine for over 12 months. I found that taking both (after about 6-9 months) had stopped my hairloss almost completely, It had reduced the speed of my hairloss by about 95% by what it seemed to me. After 13 months of Finasteride, I stopped taking it for just over 2 months but still continue my daily regaine minoxidil and now my hair loss has continued rapidly and my hair as been falling out almost 250% faster than before. Prehaps its because I stopped taking it and now it's deciding to catch up to where it should have been before I took it? Anyway I stopped taking it before I had a side effect (at least I thought I did) where I just could not lose any weight. Apperently being on a massive healthy diet and working out for an hour and a half 6 days per week and being super active made you barely lose weight, and sometimes even gain weight. Yeah that was definitely not a good sign so I stopped taking it, now 2 months later after only working out and not dieting, I'm losing weight 3-4x faster. Yes Finasteride may help you keep whats left of your hair or if not maybe at least slow it down a lot but you have to consider whats more important to you or how you wish to go about it. For me the only two things I wanted was my hair back and to lose weight, I obviously couldn't have both so I made a choice to try and slow my hair loss in other ways (e.g. regaine) and lose weight as I should or gain weight and maintain my hair but at a HUGE cost. Now thats just a standard side effect in my opinion, you could have worse,. or be lucky with none. You got to consider the risks and what you think is best. Overview: Finasteride - Take this if you want to maintain your hair but consider the possible side effects as some may remain PERMANENT even after stopping the drug (not 100% sure on this though) Regaine - Can't say if its doing anything or if it has done. Prehaps slowing it down?

It is safe to assume that drug use plus a poor diet was at play. You can't get the best nutrition living and panhandling in the streets. It is mostly genetic and it is why it is emphasized. These were more about debunking myths we've all heard before. But I agree it should be giving more mention. It is mostly about genes than food as diets vary throughout the world.

  • My grandad started balding in his 20’s, my dad in his 30’s. I was fortunate. I didn’t start losing hair until my late 40’s. I didn’t wait, I started using Rogaine and it stopped it from falling out. I’m 53 now and have just the slight thinning at the crown which hasn’t gotten any worse since I started using it. Of course I’m going to have to use the Rogaine indefinitely.

    • @@hellboyz166 really doesn't matter if you're ripped lol you could be ripped to shreds and women will still rather choose someone with a dad bod with a thick head of hair than someone like Jason Statham lol and you could have a fit body, healthy head of hair, and STILL not get anywhere with women unless you have some sense of maturity, intelligence, and confidence. And oh! Don't forget height lol because typically women would rather be with someone taller than shorter lol so good luck if you're short, fat, and balding with no sense of intelligence and confidence. • I knew where the journey was going whenever I took a look at my father. I started balding in my mid 20s and tried all the stuff they advertised: Alpecine, Propecia and so on. But all that stuff proved either useless or too expensive. 4 years ago I said "F**k it!" and simply shaved my head and it was the best solution to the problem. I fortunately have a good head shape and a body to back it up (by far not like the Expandables, but quite sporty). Now I don't have to stress about my hairdo in the morning, don't need forever to dry my hair after showering and safe a ton of money since I don't need to go to a hairdresser and don't need hair products. If there ever is a simple, affordable solution to get my hair back, I'd try it out, but for now simply shaving the head is the best solution for me.
