In this video, we explore an abandoned $4 million custom country mansion. This mansion was built by a wealthy family, but they have since gone bankrupt and the mansion has been abandoned.
This mansion is a great place to explore with Freaktography, as it's full of amazing details and unique architecture. If you're curious about abandoned businesses or homes, be sure to check out our other videos exploring these types of locations!

This vacant mansion sits on a 141.26 acre site on a secluded and very quiet lakefront property.
The home comprises more than 20,000 sq. ft. of living space and includes an indoor pool.
At one time this vacant mansion was part of a premier golf club proposal which did not get approval to proceed.
Inside you will find 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and one of the most amazing kitchens anywhere!!
The home has been vacant for at least 5 years with multiple real estate agents and companies all trying to sell it with no luck.
I am very excited to have partnered with True Swat to use, review and support their tactical gear in my adventures, my photos and my videos!

  • I enjoyed this video , What an absolute awesome property it’s crazy to think it’s been sitting empty this long and hasn’t been destroyed by vandals👍🏻

  • I'm in such AWE of this place!! I don't know how anyone can leave such an extravagant amazing home like that including the beautiful property it sits on!! Other than the mold in the "basement" this place is ready to be lived in and taken care of with love! Totally unbelievable!! Thank you Dave, for an awesome video!!!!

    • I love it to, if I could afford it definitely would hire a cleaning crew twice a week, I’d have to use an electric scooter one for each floor lol and what fun that would be. It’s the prettiest home I’ve seen yet.

    • I agree with you! It’s perfect. It’s the best one I’ve seen yet of all the explorer’s. I would love to buy this with a group of people. It’s big enough for several couples to live there. What a dream! I’d love to know if it’s for sale. That is one thing I wish they would let us know.

    • When you go bankrupt, the bank shows you the way out. You don't have much choice. Some states protect your house/homestead 100%, but others have dollar limits on how much of the value you can protect. If it was a second house, then you pretty much lose it to the bankruptcy court or creditor.

  • When I was young I would have been beside myself if I owned this house in pristine condition. But now that I'm older I just look at it and think, wow that would be a lot of dusting, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, running the vacuum, cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the pool and the lawn OMG! You couldn't run fast enough to give me this house. But it would have been spectacular in its prime.

    • A person that can afford this, can afford a cleaning staff. I feel you though, I've looked at buying a bigger house than mine in lower priced areas near me but would not want to maintain them.

      @erick2186@erick21863 жыл бұрын
    • I agree but if one has millions to buy the house then they have to have a crew to help maintain the house and property--maids, ground keepers, etc.

    • Same. I'm leaving my dude since I'm expected to cook, clean, launder, shop, and serve in his house. Maintenance easier in an apartment. I don't know that I could wait for a cleaning person. They'd have to come everyday for the kitchen and bathrooms alone.

Please don’t ‘what’s up guys’ every time you see a mirror. It’s kind of redundant. Just do a quiet ‘peace sign’. This home is beyond gorgeous and someone should definitely be primed to purchase it. • Absolutely awesome place. Rich folks sure know how to live, eh? I am so surprised no one has snapped this place up. 4 mil for a house and grounds as gorgeous as this I find rather inexpensive when looking at the big picture. Is this location fairly isolated? Really love the rooms, light, woodwork, everything. Shows a lot of superior craftsmanship and attention to detail. A work of art. Hate to see this lovely home empty, having seen senseless destruction of other homes when they remain empty for a period of time. Hopefully someone will purchase in the near future. Thank you so much for a great tour of this fantastic house. Your efforts are aporeciated by this fan in rural Michigan! Nice job!

Also the floor plan isn't too bad, and the woodwork is very good. And the fact that it does have a library. Not bad, really! I love the windows, that let in the sunlight, the french doors. • Having worked in the construction business I can tell you this house has never been lived in with all the wiring hanging out no railing on the balconies and the drywall not installed. It looks like the builder quit or ran out of money to complete the job. When that happens the only way to buy it is with cash. No bank will loan money on a incomplete house. A drone shot would have completed the video.

  • This guy is out showing us amazing places while so many haters sit on their arses spewing hate and splitting hairs over words. Here’s a thought, how ‘bout you just shut up and watch the video, or don’t. Keep your negativity to yourself and move on. There’s enough out in the world. Thank you for the wonderful tour. The outside was just as amazing as the inside. Thank you. Wonderful video.

  • Dave, you always show us wonderful houses and mansions. If saying "What's Up Guys" is something you like to say, go for it! I watch your videos because you are a sweet man and take the time to show us around places none of us would ever see otherwise. My only favour to ask is please show every room? Please and thank you. You missed a room in one of the bedrooms. I enjoy your videos very much. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Family Dave🦃🍁🍂🙏🏻

  • Would be nice to have some back ground info on this place and you mentioned at one point about possible plan for use of this place being made, would have liked to have known what that was about. Seeing how this is something I will never be able to afford, I enjoyed being able to take a journey through this home and see what was inside the walls. Thank you for the time and effort you put in to bring this to us. It is appreciated.

    • It would be nice to live there if your rich uncle was footing the bill. A home like that is a couple of million dollars a year in maintenance and utilities alone. I've had several wealthy clients over the years and most tell me that first $10000 power bill is a shock. No pun intended.

  • What an amazing home, among the prettiest abandoned ones that I have seen on YT. I love the kitchen area, I could live (spend the majority of my time) in that part of the house. Just before your said it... I was beginning to wonder if it is a Black Mold (insurance settlement) matter that forces people to pack up and never return to a dream home. The type of damage in the basement, lend to the prospects of this sort of problem... I am stunned the grandeur of this property... I really like you enthusiasm and energy, like your style of shooting. The constant rolling footage, movement, and whip pans are necessary not to spend 3 days shooting and editing... Thanks for taking the time to archive and share with us... we will "see you guys; later" ~ A W E S O M E ~

  • You had permission?? You mentioned locking the door... When it comes to this house, the Heat and Power are still on, maybe a caretaker?? Since there's maintenance equipment in the garage. The mold in the basement isn't from water it's from lack of air flow, I noticed hot water baseboard or electric baseboard heating, but there was air vents most likely for the AC, but since the AC and or fans are not on there's no air flow. It's crazy to think what could be the fate of this house...

    • I highly doubt its in foreclosure, show me some proof. I am aware of what the boards are and what is on the them, it shows the subdividing that has occurred and what sections are included for what price and a drawing of the proposed golf course that will never happen. Its a land bank.
