It still amazes me how RNC is still so efficient at all levels. Might be the most effective submission
It's reliability is why it's so good. Lock it in and 99.9% of people are done.
@@nathantheophilus4856 couldn’t agree more
Can't beat the classics 💯
it is the highest percentage submission across all submission grappling
It’s the simplest choke to learn and the easiest to land 😉
2:11 this is ridiculous start of the sparring...lol
Lol
0 respect for the kid. Completely coward way of winning.
Bro needed a revive
That Rodrigo guy held on to that submission WAY too long. 6:20
That Musemeci Imanari fight looked like a war. Looked like Imanari had Musemeci in some nasty leglocks.
He said in a post fight interview that he gave him his foot because he knew he wouldn’t get sub’d and that he couple pass from there.
The issue with leglocks is if you grip and rip it could break but if you try to lock and ease the opponent can escape

That #2 DLR footlock (Ciao Terra style) was nasty. Reminds me of the Craig Jones Richy Martinez fight. You can see the pain on the other guys face instantly.
That was too far to use the word "nasty". Footlock and armbar are both very common in BJJ. Both are painful. Choke is so common in mma. The feeling of choke is not so good too, worse than armbar, but we don't consider it nasty. That is the best part of mma: you should know what your opponents are skilled in, and try not to expose your disadvantages to them.
That toehold from dlr has been around forever. In alot of old Gracie bjj books. New stuff comes out all the time and people forget the old, or never learned, so you can catch alot of people with basic old school stuff cause they're not used to it.
Feeling of a choke is worse than armbar? Uhh no, its not.
@@davidpignatore6532 I agree. Maybe in a real street fight a choke feels worse cause you might die but in sport chokes are a much more comfortable way to go out
@@JT-he7fw yea, someone else commented about the choke feeling worse. Mentally, the choke may be worse cause of the unknown afterwards, but physically, armbar is def more painful
Can someone tell me what it means when the ref shouts catch and no catch please?
Scoring criteria is based on number of legit sub attempts, when the ref deems a submission attempt legit he shouts "catch" and vice versa
@@HitteHunden oh thsnkyou
@@HitteHunden thank you very much, looked it up and couldn't find an answer
Catch
Ruotolo bros are from a parallel universe ...
In 90 second he needed tu sit and did the leg lock when he was in belt
Beautiful technuiqe. Eph2;8:9:for by Grace you are saved through faith and that not of yourselves it's a gift from God, lest anyone should boast
i dont get why wrestling and sambo guys join to grappling with significantly less grappling knowladge. As soon as you pull guard you start winning slowly, lol.
Money
judo's locking skills are more advanced than BJJ's.
Not even close. Judo guys always lose to top bjj guys.

At 6:00 you do NOT need to get a rear naked choke to win here. You can just do the cross-face with the pressure point under the other guy's nose and pull back. They will tap or nap there too.
All perfects. 🫡🙏🏽👊🏽
