I travel to New Zealand’s West Coast Wilderness, to get dropped of in the middle of nowhere with my local friend @j.e.wilds-hunting for a ten days wilderness mountain hunt chasing tahr and chamois with our rifles.
Come along in this two part series hunting adventure as we get to discover some of the most remote public land hunting opportunities New Zealand has to offer.

  • Great video guys. Footage was spectacular. We are very blessed with incredible country in NZ so many don't even realize what is at their doorstep. These animals are just majestic.   • Just back from Scotland Red Deer Hunting (i wrote you on your video in the comments i will do after seeing it ). Got 2 stags, great hunt, great landscape, worst weather. :) Great to see more stuff from you, i know already that this video will be great and will enjoy it now.   • I love the fact that you don't take any of this for granted, cherish every second. As for the helo hunting, I hate it. How much damage are these "evasive animals" really doing? I would guess they create more good than bad. Great hunt.

    • The rare native non flying parrots etc rely on the vegetation in the high alpine areas. They are endangered by the invasive mammals both herbivores and carnivores.

  • This new added 'background music....makes everything you actually show, seem like a farce. Now it's as if a netflix series 3 years ago, even though that model is failing as I'm typing. Hang in there and be true to both your hunting and showing true hunting to the world, no matter what "they" say. Best of luck!

  • I once heard you talk about animals jumping the string. You said you have video of shooting one from a group, and only the one you shot at jumped, suggesting it heard the arrow coming. Can you help me find that video? Love your videos.
