One small detail from episode 7 Time 2:30 - when hela's crown crashes, visual comes 1st the explosion and sound comes 2nd, (The speed of light as it travels through air and space is much faster than that of sound; )

A note on the first detail, in the 1602 ep when Peggy releases Hulk from prison she says "Sorry Bruce", meaning she knows that Hulk is Bruce Banner. Although she could've been informed on that by other 1602 avengers

It's actually possible that she was told that it was Bruce, she didn't really seems to know Hulk, she said he's "the one in the Iron mask" and she visited Stark before this, so maybe Stark is the one who built the mask for Bruce to contain Hulk, we know Stark always does this in every universe so far

A detail from episode 7 which I haven't seen anyone mention: I think that the line that Hela says to Odin about Fenrir, "He means you no harm" and Odin's reply of in time he would is actually a nod to real life norse mythology where Odin dies because Fenrir eats him at Ragnorok. And even in the actual myths he was originally not that dangerous (by some accounts) and it was only after Odin tricked and chained him that he swore vengence and to kill him at Ragnorok.

(spoiler alert) A detail I thought about in the final episode was that at the very end Peggy and the Watcher himself were standing looking at the universe that Strange Supreme had revived. There is a frequent reference to butterflies in this episode obviously referring to the butterfly effect where small decisions can change the universe in a massive way. But as Peggy and the Watcher, well, watch the Watcher actually reaches out and allows a butterfly to rest on his hand. This could be a symbol of how the Watcher is becoming less hesitant to interfere in some realities.

Not really, Steve's blood was used to replicate the Serum, so he went into ice in the main timeline, but he's still there and he was dug up, but Peggy wasn't there, she pretty much immediately got to the future
She got dragged through a time portal by shumagorath (or whatever the tentacle thing is). Her blood was never extracted to use for testing.
We can call this season as what if " what if is totally about captain Carter " 😂

Would like to hear your thoughts on Captain Carter's same old story "we never get our happy ending" being this much repeated. She was one of my most favorite characters of the series alongside Strange up to this episode but episode 8 really pissed me off with her character alongside Marvel's recent problem with female characters. I guess banking on one character this much heavily utterly damages the spirit on a What-If series. And really I laughed very hard when you said "2 BIG reasons" 😂😂
In episode 9....Can any one explain why peggy didn't have any consequences of using infinity stones like tony did in endgame...she literally holds the stones in her hand in a particular scene ??😅😅

I'm so excited to see your breakdown of episode 9, there was so much to see.
I want to see this show take a different direction in Season 3. I’m not one of those people that unnecessarily hates on Captain Carter, but I can see why people would complain about how much she is featured in the first 2 seasons. An anthology series shouldn’t have a main character, it should just explore the multiverse and its possibilities. I hope the writers change the direction of this show to better reflect its original anthology purpose
Well to be fair the main character is truly the watcher and his relation to the things he watches, he always refuses to interfere but is getting closer and closer to just breaking that "fourth" wall more and more.

I think the sound effect of Captain Carter stopping the bullets with her shield from the Stomper in the building fight in this episode, and Captain America stopping bullets with his shield in the bridge fight scene in The Winter Soldier movie is similar or maybe the same.

One sad thing to consider as well when seeing the Wasp being in the Avengers is that we can’t be sure if Hank’s and Janet’s places got switched in the Quantum Realm. As we saw, Hank and Janet worked together as Ant-man and Wasp, and Janet only did the sacrifice because Hank’s stabilizer was damaged. My theory is that in this universe, since Wasp was likely more active on the field than Ant-man, it was her regulator that was damaged, and Hank in the movie was the first trying to go subatomic. Maybe in this universe he succeeded and in this universe Hope lost her father instead of her mother.

If Steve Rogers never became a super soldier, how is that a reason for no one else attempting to create a new super soldier serum? Peggy Carter is still a super soldier in this universe. I still didn't get why no one else tried to make another one.
Yeah that part didn't make sense. My best guess is that Captain Carter is "Captain Britain" and thus not under The U.S. Military's AOR. However, the project was a joint one between many countries during WWII, so that on its own wouldn't be a good enough reason. The best explanation is simply feminism post that universe's WWII and the desire to keep the numbers the same between the Avengers movie and the What If... episode.

One detail which surprised me a lot with the last discussion Cpt Carter has with Steve : she is seen letting her shield falling and in the next shot of her point of view, we can see it at her arm again since it's the same plan as before. Animators recycled a plan here, and it surprised me a lot since they have so much attention over details usually.

Hey CanadianLad, I found a slight animation mistake in the fight between Carter and Steve, whenever Peggy Carter is trying to rationalize with Steve and find peace, she drops her shield, then it cuts to the fight scene with Black Widow and her mother fighting, but when it cuts back to Peggy rationalizing with Steve, she has her shield picked back up again

One minor detail, when Cap knocks out the Stomper mid air, it started to fall, Cap reaches to it and spreads her arms to catch it and the shield in her hand slows her down, she immediately realizes this and puts the shield on her back to gain more descending momentum to catch up with Stomper.
I don't know if my boy The Canadian Lad would see this comment but now I'm pretty sure that What If Peggy Carter and 838 Peggy Carter are same. Because as she is the most experienced person through multiverse and as her Avengers already got Hope, no bucky as Winter Soldier there would be no civil war. Also her world expanded more so there would be X men, FF, Inhumans explored themselves earlier. Plus she also faced Supreme Strange as both Dr Jekyl and Mr. Hyde personas, so with her Strange she will be sceptical. If Marvel officially established that thing that would be a major character development.

Two details that I found, not too hard to notice but there you go.😁 There is a hint to the MATRIX in episode 6… And in ep8, Captain Carter says: “No, no I don’t think I will.” Which is obviously said by you know who in Avengers Endgame.

i believe another contunuity reason with wasp as an avenger (also we never are told its hope). why would any of the Pyms be an avenger as after Janet's disapearance. Both Hank and Hope wanted nothing to do with shield. now at the time Peggy was director of shield. maybe she gave the OK for the mission where Janet was lost in the quantom realm. so since Peggy became the super soldier...lost in time. someone else was in charge of shield. maybe they didnt ok the mission or sent someone else or Hank made the sacrifice. or maybe both made the sacrifice leaving Hope orphaned. maybe raised by Howard Stark. So either no Janet lost made the relationship between Shield, Starks and Pyms go fine.....or Janet was more accepting at the loss or Hope is raised by the starks and grows up as an agent of shield like her parents. so my theory as to why wasp in there. No Peggy Carter running shield at the time....led to Wasp being an avenger (whether Hope or Janet)

In the original Avengers Assemble movie Captain America says Thor and Iron man to take care of the heights and attack from up because they can fly and he and black widow will stay at geound but Captain Carter in this storyline tells Thor and Iron man to stick to ground and they will fight from up. Like you have two heroes who can fly and you are not using their best abilities

there was a mistake in this episode ... when Peggy drops the shield because she don't want to fight Steve ... few seconds later she holds the shield again ... and then when Steve decides to fly through the red room, shield is back on the ground where she droped it
