Driver attempts a U-Turn instead of backing out from a low bridge situation. This folks is why you don't depend solely on your GPS! Why on earth would you do this to the truck... USA should not only fire his ass, but send him a bill. He blatantly destroyed that equipment. Simple solution would be to G.O.A.L then back up! or call the police for assistance backing.
If you newbies are ever in this situation , just call for help or slowly back up. Cars will move.
He probably isn't good at backing yet
@@realistmw even if he isn't good. He just needed to go straight back lol. It was harder to flip that u turn than to back up.
What he should’ve done was put his four ways on, let traffic pass, and then slowly backed up.
Do they teach common sense at that truck driving school?
@@nickrojas3669 clearly the trailer wouldnt fit or been able to do a Uee in that situation tree sign concrete pole road bridge. Plus a tractor attached. Why did he continue after seeing the sign? Could have turned left.
I’ve been a driver for 20 years I feel for this guy there’s a lot more stress out there when you’re driving than regular drivers could ever believe
Nice to hear you point that out. I'm not a truck driver but I think we've all been discouraged and in a panic situation.
@@shaunmcinnis566 Right. As Non truck driver I slid into a pole once.. No real damage but was stressed. Forgot my car was front wheel drive and thought it was stuck, turned into the pole at first stupid as hell... Stopped to think and was like oh yeah. Pulled away easy no trouble at all turning away from it. Glad I remembered my cobalt was front wheel drive in a snow storm going through Kansas in high wind. That was super stressful. Tried pushing through a drift and it pushed me into oncoming traffic, had to floor it and pull the front away. That same road I saw the aftermath of a similar slide off. Blue or black car must've slid in front of the semi that hit it. Sad to say it looked like the semi crushed any space inside the vehicle. Like a Coke can after you wrap it around a bat. One look and instantly I felt like we were looking at someones new roadside grave.
Yes and the stress to move quickly is also great because you don’t want to eff up. The thing to remember is slow and smooth.

i can't feel for this guy, at all... he completely DEMOLISHED the truck for no reason... why???
Rookie driver here. This happened to me and I got out and everyone who was behind me got out to assist me to turn the truck around safely. Communication is key and never feel pressured to do anything out of your skill set.
I’ve been a driver damn near 10 years. For all the new drivers out there, if you ever encounter this situation CALL THE POLICE!!! I cannot stress this enough. This guy could have easily backed up then made a u-turn. SMH
Call the police to help you, as a truck driver, he means. 😊
What will the police do?
@@unorthodox7945 The police will control traffic so you can drive out backwards.
@oliverseoliverse I understand that, but I don't see any traffic impeding his driving. It looks as if the one car recording was back far enough to yield to him the space he needed
@unorthodox7945 Yes but traffic further back may not know what's ahead and may go around them, creating another obstacle for getting out. The person filming is also stuck. The police may reroute the traffic or stop it altogether until the truck can get out of there.
Sucks to be that dude. I'm a driver myself, so I can sympathize with most truck drivers. But why he thought he could u-turn a 53 ft trailer on a 2 lane road is beyond me.
You can see in the video the curb on the left turning left. He fucked himself bad. Could of just reversed and came back out wider
With a sleeper
😂
I think he got nervous he’s new clearly he forgot which way to turn his wheel while backing
This dude panicked. No way he was calm and thinking logically. He should have just started backing up. Cars would just go around him.
I really hate it for the driver. I drove for 10 years before calling it quits. The best piece of advice I can give a new driver is stay calm, don't panic and keep a level head.
Dave Pelfrey I still drive and I couldn’t agree more
What the hell, You don't need a level head- just common sense. Any one who works for me could have done that better- you don't need a cdl to know not to do that.
Right?
Ozzie Sheppard ok good for you
Dave Pelfrey Hello Dave, how are you ?
At least he saw the sign and is trying to turn around. The guy filming could back up a little to let him strait back to the intersection. But no filming is more important than helping someone who needs it.
Sad state of society these days. It’s the same when people film themselves “helping” a homeless person etc.
The idiot driver should have paid attention it's his fault not to guy filming.....he could have backed up and turned left without destroying the truck...
I had to go under a 13'0" once. Sometimes they overestimate the height because of possible snow and ice buildup.
@@bentonja668 Stop lying
I was wondering the same thing. Why didn't the damn guy back up to let him know he can back out! We don't help each other man...our society has failed us
Years otr here myself...I feel bad for this kid. True meaning of learned the hard way. Dude filming could've jumped out and helped. We are all in this together people. Even if you don't drive trucks you know this is not a good situation
Wrong, attempting this was BS cause these goons are not trained, they are passing out CDL's for free.
Wrong, the driver should have checked his surroundings.....
There's no way someone who doesn't have a cdl would know how to help you
You have to be a complete bafoon to do this. This is gross negligence
Gotta tell you, when I drove an 18 wheeler I got myself in a bad situation a time or two. It is a sickening feeling. And embarassing as hell

As a fellow trucker, 21 years in the game, non CDL ppl have no idea how panicking this can be...but I knew this driver and I'm proud to say that he was written up but still have his job...also, it's a shame we live in a world where ppl would rather record than help...they could've at least tried to help
That's a shame to hear. This guy has no business being behind the wheel of a truck. He has proven that he does not have the ability to think through a tough situation. Do you really want him on the road with your family and depend on hid decision making ability?
@tomfuelery2905 he made a bad decision fella, followed a GPS down the wrong road...what about these speed demons in these cars speeding and crashing...they're worse than truckdrivers fella
@@tomfuelery2905 In terms of potential danger to my family or society, I'd rather have him on the road than you on the internet, but oh well

He should've learned how to reverse his rig before taking it onto the road. The idiot shouldn't be anywhere near a truck. Any halfwit can drive one of these forwards, its reversing around a corner that sorts the men from the morons.
I've gotten stopped by a low bridge a few times. Seriously, best thing you can do is call police and have them help you back out.
Do you get a ticket?
@@whatislifebuttheenjoymento3405 If you call before doing damage, rarely will they write a ticket. Even if they do write a ticket, that's a whole lot better than doing a crap load of damage and then getting a ticket anyway.
@@whatislifebuttheenjoymento3405 same situation happened with me in Maryland 2018. I called to police then 4 police car came, they helped me.Police gave me just warning ticket😊.
Nope. NEVER call the police, they don't exist to help. You can back out without them and avoid being extorted.
I haven't had the same experience with the police. I don't make a habit of calling them or needing them. Do you ever think maybe...you're the problem in society?
At first I was laughing, but after a while I just felt sorry. I was once a new driver and felt empathy for him.
Laugh bud tht was just dumb try to u turn a truck tht big in tht space I would’ve called Fox News 📰 sat down kick back w pop corn I’m a rookie and I can easily tell u what to do in a situation like tht it’s not worth fxcking up the truck and potentially loosing your job sit down think and at least try to use your brain
I was a new driver myself and made many screwups. But I never did anything this bad.
😅😅😅
Boy can I relate to what he must be feeling. I'm a new driver 5 days old lol and landed up taking a wrong turn in Atlanta and landed up literally on a side road downtown on a no truck route. Talk about full on anxiety attack.......took me a few to calm the hell down so I could get out.
@s.s.s.734 it's like night and day from when I started. Every day is better backing up lol 😆 when I 1st started, man, I took out the front driver mirror, pinched the truck between a fence, getting lost in downtown Atlanta.......or just being on a no truck road............Huge learning curves lol
@s.s.s.734 thanks!!!!!!!
@s.s.s.734 thank you 😊 🙏 💓 he's serving a 10 year sentence now. My company goes as far as texas, and I love texas 😍 , and north, I've been as far as Chicago. The best part about driving is getting to see all of the 🇺🇸. The only part I hate is when u have an appointment for 1pm and they make you wait 8 hours!!!!!!!!! I told the guy you think I have all day? You do realize truckers run on log books? Lol 😆 🤣
Atlanta is the worst
I made a wrong turn in downtown Seattle and found myself on a No-Trucks narrow street. I stopped, walked back to the intersection, found a Lady Police Officer on a bicycle ( gorgeous, beautiful, wearing shorts ), told her about my mistake, crazy traffic @ 4:30 pm, she called, two more police officers came for help to stop traffic, I backed up to & through the intersection, hop on the road again, no ticket, nothing but beautiful smiles. Actually they all appreciate me for keeping my head cool and asking for help without putting anyone in danger.
This exact type of situation happened to me years ago during my first year on the road. I was in Chicago. The road did have a Low bridge height sign but you couldn't see it until you have already committed to the road. Traffic was so bad that backing up was out of the question. I looked at my GPS and it said there is a road 2 more blocks further down the rabbit hole that I could use to get turned around. When I got there to my horror the freakin road was closed and barricaded. I had no choice but to call the police on myself so they could come out and block traffic long enough for me to turn around. To my supprise, they didn't ask me any questions, they didn't write me a ticket. In fact as soon as I got turned around they drove off without saying a word. I guess this must happen all the time 🤣. But still, after that, I never wanted to go back to Chicago. Those roads are not meant for big trucks.
I try to never go to Chicago or miami beach the worst
@jerrybasham4439 I agree 100%. I dont ever go into the Florida panhandle unless the load pays enough for me to deadhead all the way back home. Florida is a trap. Those loads don't pay anything. They'll try to pay you $300 to take a load from Miami to Atlanta. I'd rather come back empty than be pimped out like that. When I ran longhkaul, I stayed away from New York and California too. California has their own set of DOT regulations used to make money off truckers. Nowadays, I only drive up and down I-65 or close to it..
You can tell he is panicking here. When I first started driving, for the first 4-5 months, I was constantly on the edge of that same panic. The right set of circumstances, the wrong day, that could have been me.
When I started driving years ago everybody was in the panic seat because you're trying to figure out what to do right it took a little while but you figure it out if you don't then you got to go home
Wow look at that ..Back of the truck between the back wheels there's A lady in there creepy
If you're panicked then don't drive please
@@michaelbuzan7939 that was the reflection of whoever is recording the video off the glass of her vehicle
💯💯 I prayed everyday. Never prayed so much in my life
He should have just called the cops to escort him out. He would have probably gotten a hundred dollar ticket. I got trapped downtown during a NFL football game with people everywhere and no way for me to turn without killing somebody. The cops barricaded the street and escorted me out. They never ticketed me. I was authorized to be there. This guy is obviously a rookie. Hopefully bhe learned from this.
He probably learned but more than likely lost job too due to all of the damage done to equipment & such.
Me yesterday in Chicago with the whole clearance situation they got going on there.
If a driver calls before doing any damage, usually no ticket written. It's when someone messes things up and then the cops come out that tickets get written. If the responding officers have DOT enforcement, they will usually do a road side inspection, too.
@@nevergiveupnevergivein7655 you're right
I always have seen this video pop up through the years and really think the locals should of helped him out. You know the same people navigate that road and probably have seen plenty of drivers in this situation in this exact spot numerous times. Even if I'm off work in my car I try to help a fellow trucker brother out. Trucking is trial by fire and you learn on the road. The public needs training just as much as this guy
You can read every book on truck driving that was ever written but experience comes to you over years of trucking and that driver won't do things that way anymore.
i feel so bad for this guy. He drove into a tough situation and just totally panicked. It should be really drilled into new drivers, that it's okay to ask for help.
Being a driver I can say this. Don't try the u-turn. Back it up nice and slow if you have no traffic or someone willing to help. If you don't have that or are unsure, call the police. They can help you out in a timely manner with no damage to the truck. Plus as long as you haven't violated any weight retrictions, you usually don't get a ticket, you keep your job and you don't have this embarrassing video on youtube. I am fortunate that I have not had this exact situation happen to me, but I have come to unmarked dead ends on small county roads with ditches on either side. All I did was throw on my 4 ways, back up slowly and when a car came up behind me I stopped until they went around me. Continued this until I found a safe place to pull into that I could get turned around in safely and legally. No damage to the truck.
Folks dont realize how easy it is to get into a situation like this. You go into an area you're not familiar with and you make one wrong turn, and you're this guy. I thought i was going to have to do the same thing once in Chicago. Thankfully, a cop came by and helped me out.
I had no idea it was THIS easy to get your CDL. There are some insanely skilled truck drivers out there. Even to the not so skilled, Hats off to ya. That job just has to be brutal
Yeah Nick there's a reason we like to call them Craigslist cowboys. be surprised what goes on under table. Can you read about these CDL scam schools taking bribes for licenses and even the cops and other feds and other people getting caught and a CDL ring these are the kind of recipients you get.
you gotta feel sorry for this guy....he is like the rest of us only tryin to feed his family, the person filming this could have done the decent thing and tried to help the poor guy in some way
no there is no helping stupid like that he should have simply called the police and got help holding traffic so he could back out. not tear up the truck
maybe so,but you can see the the guy is panicking a bit,we all make mistakes.personally i could not sit back and watch anyone struggle doing whatever without offering assistance....but hey, thats me.
I agree I'd have helped him long before he started doing all that but no excuse doing what he did
yes,if he did get help sooner then maybe his truck would not be so beat up in the first place.stay safe
Dirty side down, u too
So this is what happens when your in a big rig and have a nervous mental break down... because this driver clearly stopped thinking at all. I honestly feel sorry for the guy.
I don't feel sorry for this guy at all. Why the hell do you do a job that is the least fitting to you? And what if he has a nervous mental break down on a highway and accidentally kills a few people, are you sorry for him too?
I feel sorry for him too. That's a bad day.
@@Delibro shut up Karen
Couldnt drive a truck this size at all. But this is hard to watch. Better roads ahead my man.
We've all had bad days at work. I know how you feel, brother.
I've hauled flatbed for 13 years, and I've had to call the law a few times to not push a bad situation. They're always happy to assist..!
Raven Leader true
I hate impatient drivers, always beeping, fingering, shouting & not understanding how that doesn't help the situation at all. When i was new to driving on the roads, people gave me a hard time when i was learning. I took a roundabout in the wrong lane. He beeped at me & gave me the finger. Yes it was my mistake but he was very far from me & i didn't harm anyone doing it. I also went into a blind corner a little to fast around 15mph (this was with parked cars on their side.) I couldn't see any oncoming traffic. Due to the blind bend, i still don't know what i would do differently. Apart from going slower, honestly parking cars on the opposite side of a road around a blind turn shouldn't be allowed. It's very dangerous as i found out i didn't crash but it was a close call. I did progressive braking giving the driver time to go into an open spot.
Did you get a ticket when the cops showed up?
I was in a similar situation once... I got out and explained to the car’s behind me that I needed to back up... they got out of the way and I proceeded to slowly back out of a bad situation 😂
Yes, in that way such situations are handled. That is common sense. I would understand if he'd tried. But at the latest when the first damage occours, stop and get help. But he continues and continues over and over...
I did same, just takes good judgment and to think clearly...so not to tear your equipment and lose job.

I think the person taking this video could have gotten out and tried to help the driver back out of this situation. There might have been a lot less damage and taken a lot of stress off of the driver. But that would have taken an act of kindness and being helpful to someone else which is rare to find these days.

In my college my Professor asked, if you are a journalist and you are in a situation where you see a man dying on the road and you got to make a news story out of it, would you take tge camera out or would you call for help and make sure the man reches hispital in time. I said i would help. My Professor said, " then you better never try to be a journalist, as erhically you are not supposed to be an active part of any situation butact only as eyes and ears of the firm you work for." The fact that he drove towards a low bridge which ment he couldn't go any further, and the fact that he wasn't able to get out by doing a U-turn isn't really the issue here, the issue is how he dealt with the situation. I think most people whether rookies or not would've either just left the truck where it was as soon as they discovered it wouldn't go under the bridge and rang for help, or gone onto the pavement a little to get more out of the way and left it there and rang for help, or just backed it out of there, anyone behind him he could've just asked them if they would back up so he can get out. This guy probably panicked and thought that he couldn't leave it there because of blocking the road, or backing up because of traffic behind him, and couldn't think of doing anything else other than just forcing it to do a U-turn even though it ment wrecking the truck.
if he back up 100 ft straight first then u turn at the T junction , but hey it was a bad decision.

I haven't seen anyone mention this, we should give this guy a lot of credit for reading the sign. We've seen on the 12'6 Bridge channel people hit the bridge because they didn't read extremely obvious signs infront of them. I've noticed almost no one reads signs in an 18 wheeler, people are passing when you're supposed to be in a specific lane before a weigh station, in construction it often says "Trucks use left lane," but I find I'm the only truck in the left lane, also in construction I see guys ignore a sign that's marked 20 mph lower than the rest of the construction zone speed limit because there will be a single very tight hard bend or literally a corner that's a 30 degree or more turn that you cannot execute and stay in your lane at a higher speed, but they still go around it 30mph over and shit their pants. In other words this guy was vigilant and attempted to prevent a bad situation rather than blindly entering a bad situation. But also side note I have no idea where this road is or if there was a sign that said no trucks he might have missed, but sometimes that's irrelevant because I've been to shippers where their truck entrance was on a truck restricted road. Likely the shipper was within 20 miles for this guy. Back roads can be really great or really awful
He handled that just perfect. Great example of perfection.
Oh deary me
Legend has it he still has the truck and he’s doing fine
The man is clearly in a panic mode... That is sooo crazy!!! As a driver I feel bad for him. New career on the way.
He got nervous, simply back it up using the left lane to find a bigger space to turn around
Yeah
Hello how are you doing message me so we can talk if you are single ❤️❤️
Exactly
Years ago when I was a rookie, I started regularly investing in a Rand McNally truck atlas to hopefully prevent this and while that's not a perfect solution, it's better than no solution. So far, so good...
Been a driver for 11 years, I fully understand the stress, but the best advice for any new trucker, is you must either make a call to get help, or back it up, it will take time, a couple metres at a time, but you have to suck it up, better than this situation
How to attempt impossible U-turn step: 1. activate hazards, alerting others of your pending maneuver 2. Lose mind 3. Jack knife like you mean it, until.. 4. truck has shed all soft body panels/ severed air lines to trailer 5. Once immobile, do a walk-around, assess the situation 6. Enlist help from local bridge dwelling crackhead to clear the roadway of debris 7.Call dispatch, tell them you were run off the road by a car full of irate teenagers be sure to mention a possible neck injury 8. ??? 9. profit.
Pleasant Lake Pirate Step 8 seems sketchy to me unless its for collecting underpants.
;)
Pleasant Lake Pirate He nearly made it just a few small hick cups nothing about 30000 dollars couldn t fix or roll of duct tape
Pleasant Lake Pirate That is fuc kin' hilarious.
dude you win the internet for this comment.
Truck driving is not for everybody. This guy lacks common sense. That's very important on this job. What he needed to do, was stop, hit the flashers and get out a assess the situation. Wave traffic though and call the police assistance. As for the trucking company, they'll fire this guy and their insurance will repair the rig.
You can be sure the dispatcher said turn the truck in at our terminal and head back to yard. I been there, but never that to that extreme, tearing up the truck and all. I've torn up a few grass yards in my time though. Robert at 67.
If you’re in Dunbar NC with overheight, watch out for bridges. If you can’t watch out, smile for KZhead 😂
At least he got out and looked😂
😂😂😂 he did
Got out and said “Fuck”
At least he had his flashers on.
It was a pleasure meeting the man who shot this video. Met in Battleboro about a year ago. Hope you and your family are doing well O/O. You told me you offered assistance but the rookie said he had.😆😆
Do you know where this happened?
The driver filming it said NY, his home state. He is an O/O for USA and offered to assist the rookie driver but the rookie refused help and ultimately got fired. I met him in Battleboro,NC, in fact he even asked me if I had seen the video. I said yes and LMAO and told me all about it.
@@deegrant8011Another guy said he knew the rookie and he only got written up. Not fired.
@@grindhard4312 he's LYING lol

I’m a new driver and great lesson learned is never to panic. Get out and asses the situation if you have to. Calm down and think. Do not rush 😊
Unless you're on a railroad crossing. And the train comes. Then, panic.
The poor guy was obviously just a rookie driving for USA Truck. Show a little compassion. Driving one of these monsters is harder than it looks.
No compassion from me. He should never drive a semi again.
Driving is stressful af when stuff go bad and you find yourself in a situation like this.
I drive a box van with a tail lift in Italy and in historic city centers its an absolute nightmare, i know what this guys went through cause it happens to me almost everyday...the stress is insane cause if i damage the van i have to cover the expenses to repair it...but old Italian cities were made hundred of years ago for horse carts or minuscle cars and not box vans😅 Doing this type of job bad things can happen when you dont even expect it...i got some minor damage cause i touched a stop sign which was planted in the most idiotic way possible
he just couldn't control himself he couldn't handle the stress he got rattled too easy lack of experience that's all there is to it I believe the trainer's fault it's all about experience
it's not all about experience. it's also about IQ. edit: note: I didn't realize they were black when I made that comment.
Robert Lucus You right Robert
What trainer? Most companies get 30,000 combined miles and then you get put in a rig....you usually knock down 4000-6000 miles a week with two drivers so that's at best 6 weeks of almost non-existent training (since he sleeps while you drive) and then you're solo.
We all been there before, low bridges, ice, residents areas
@@Twisted86 That's how I was trained and I quit because I didn't feel like I had enough training.
Your truck atlas has an amazing amount of information in it. Like streets listed that have low bridges.. Js. I use it when planning trips.
Im so happy that someone actually did there job,and film the whole thing😁😂😂...
You don't have to be newbie . 27 years of driving and I went down a wrong road a couple of months back. Road came to a T. The turns way too tight for a semi. I called 911 explained my situation and 2 nice Kennesaw cops and blocked traffic for me to back out onto the busy 2 lane that I was on when I made the wrong turn. It happens.
I don't know where he's at but that side road looks like a perfect place to back into and make a u-turn
That is correct. This is in Knoxville Tennessee if I recall correctly because I did the research and I found that exact location and bridge and there's a giant place to do a U-turn you can even see the bellmouth of the road a little bit in the video just like you mentioned!
Poor kid, I'm 18 years in the game and have a bad day hear and there but it always has to accompany not getting a ticket or damaging property or cargo. It all starts with patience and a daily focus. Hope he gets it!
As a class 1 driver myself, I can honestly say that I really feel for this fella. At least he's trying to turn back rather than trying to force his way under that bridge, which is probably about a foot lower than his trailer. You can plan your routes all you want, but there are always these curveballs that you have to deal with occasionally. Truck navs are your friends but even they aren't infallible. My truck Tom-Tom has never let me down but there's always that 'what if', which is why common sense is essential. This incident could also be result of a bad planning team.
I feel for this guy.God bless our truckers. They have a stressful job.
Swift driver ..." I'm the worse driver out here." USA driver..."Hold my beer."
🙄 I’m so over the Swift jokes. 98% of y’all have never driven for Swift.
@@nwhy406 there’s a good reason for that 😂
@@southernhotrodder the swift jokes are so childish take that to were every you came from
@@BoneCOLLECTA47 we found the swift driver
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm a trucker also and even a blind person could see the sheer stupidity of what this inexperienced driver is doing! Instead of having backed up to the clearly wider and paved section behind him/her to make a safer u-turn, this one actually starts tearing the truck to pieces in an effort to force the vehicle to do what it was never designed to do, which is to fold in on itself! More than 9 out of 10, this driver will be suspended and afterward fired for sheer lack of self control, which is why this numbnut is doing this in the first place.....This makes a bad reflection on all truckers when a clearly flustered driver fails to think things through, take his or her time and PATIENTLY maneuver out of that kind of situation. This is an excellent training video of what NOT to do in an unforseen low bridge encounter!
easily said than done.if you inexperience .you have traffic behind you so backing would be difficult.need to post bridge heights sighs sooner or on maps better.my guess he may have used the gps.going under the bridge slowly would've been my way.less damage to truck.most truckers out there are doing trucking because of the bad economy.glad I got out of it when I did.bs job.
Joseph Lafave He couldn't keep going under, the bridge height is 13'0" the truck is 13'6". He would have either ripped the trailer apart(or bridge) if he hit it hard enough, or he would have gotten stuck under the bridge(or both)
Jason Slaughter It been better if he had backed up and not try to U turn in that spot. Joseph is correct they should have signs posted better. I have been in a similar position Road listed as a truck route on the atlas but a 13.0 bridge
David Turner I agree. It looks like he had a little more room to u turn if he would have backed up farther but he never should have let himself get into that spot in the first place.
People are not aware of the turnover rate of drivers. Most drivers out there have less than 3 months OTR experience. Those that drive for 20 years are a rare breed.
gotta love the person blowing there horn like he just chose a bad parking spot... lol. Thanks for the help pal
Everone with a cdl got a story to tell, especially their rookie days. This is gonna be one hell of a story lol. Hope he gets the big picture next time. The smith system would have helped.
Fuck your smith system you patty fuck
Aim high when steering😅
What's the Smith System?
He's doing an Austin Power move.
hhds113 😂😂😂😂😂💯
I thought of that too!! (^.^)
This happened to me in Chicago and I called the Police and they held off traffic for me so I could back up about 150 yards or so, and they were very eager to help me!
I’m still a new driver and I’ve almost been in this situation plenty of times. I feel so bad for him.
@P Tv... Don't panic newer-ewer you must control situations...Jump from your truck, see what happens, try take best option if not Call 911 like me at San Fran...!
I think if he just hit the bridge it would’ve been less damage.
🤣🤣
I think he could have went under the bridge with zero damage. It's says 13 but those signs aren't accurate
@@jamesball8519 He would’ve definitely got stuck and did some damage. Trailers are 13’6 and trucks are 13’4.
@@jamesball8519 that’s a big NEGATIVE!!!
@@joaquinsolis7071 no they cant ticket you over this, its not a crime lol
Sorry for him , new driver
Hello
First time I drove I got my dump truck and stuck feels like shit . Counts as experience though
Linda German Shepherd probably young too. it's 2018 and many older gen. drivers leaving or retiring and I was in school with a 21 yr old. people don't like us just because I guess cause we need bigger vehicles to haul freight?? so let's all buy big pick up trucks to challenge them?? I've seen a lot of that these days but remember y'all who are parents of generation before us, y'all made us, remember that. help them and love them. ❤🇺🇸♏ ArmyStrong
Can't recall the distribution warehouse I pickup a load of shingles...all roads that I saw had no truck signs...even the one to the location...crazy...all trucks were going thru those roads...guess it was for thru trucks but even then why if trucks were still gonna go thru their from that warehouse
I drove for this company in o5'..... Ft Smith has some tiny-tight mountain roads
rumor has it the guy is still there trying to U-turn his truck
He works at Swift now
cept for the fact it's not his truck...
Mike Garrison its his truck when he's driving it since hes responsible for it and the load hes hauling
brian craig the company is responsible for the truck and the load he is hauling. Responsible meaning whoever has to foot the bill. So your statement is 100% incorrect.
Haha I bet he worked at cr England or jB hunt to
